SASKIA'S POV

My heart was in shambles when I heard what Sophia said. Shana eyed me suspiciously but I know she knows better since she used to be a victim of the Aristocrats.

"Why don't you tell that to someone who's interested?"
"Well, of course, the Academy is interested, I just want you to hear it first."

Shana browsed the book she's reading like Sophia doesn't exist beside her. And of course, She is not pleased with how Shana treated her.

"Seems like you found yourself a loyal one." I grinned at her, "Have it your way, just be careful, you might become Margo 2.0." She flipped her hair and threw me the last pieces of my activity paper.

Ugh! Now I have to start from scratch. Those twins, they're getting into my nerves. I looked at Shana and sighed.

"Are you not really interested?"
"Nope" And she popped her gum. "Why? Should I be bothered?" I shook my head, "I trust you okay, and if it's about Margo, no one will believe that you'd be able to do that, have you seen her body? I don't even know if you can lift her."

We laughed and realize that I haven't laughed like this since I got here.

"What are you doing tomorrow?" I shook my head since I do not have anything to do anyway and besides even if I want to get out from this hellhole I don't know where to go. "Let's go to the city?"

My eyes twinkled and I unknowingly nodded my head.
---------------------------

"Ugh! We can only hang out for an hour, is that okay with you?"
"Yes, I just need a breather."

We went outside and walked for at least 10 minutes before we reached the highway.

"You have to remember every stops, okay?"
"Aye! Aye Cap--" I suddenly remember that day and I can't imagine if I was not there what could have happened? "Y-yes."

Shana waved her hand when we saw the bus approaching. Should I also do that later? Aish! Or should I just go back? What if I forgot the stops and I might get lost?

"Relax, you won't get lost."
"You sure?" She laughed and patted my shoulder.
"If you forgot where to stop just tell the driver to drop you off at the Academy."
"I can do that?" Shana just laughed at my weirdness.

The bus took at least an hour and a half to reached the port, this I remember and I have a bad feeling about going to the other side. Have you ever had that gut feeling like something is going to happen but you have no idea what it could be?

"Sas, come on or we'll get left behind."

With a heavy heart, I hopped onto the boat and as we got closer and closer to the other side, my heart pounded more and more.

Upon reaching the other port, Shana waved at someone and I saw a guy coming towards us.

"Saskia, meet my half brother, Sean."
"Hi, nice to meet you."
"I heard a lot about you." Shana shyly punched his brother's arms. "What?"
"I hope they're good things."
"Of course,"

We laughed at her for being a little defensive.

He drove us to the mall and the first thing we did was eat. After eating we went to the salon for a haircut,

"Are you sure about that?"
"Yeah? I'm having a hard time drying my hair in the morning because it's gotten so long already."
"Okay, I hope it suits you then."
