CHAPTER 01

"I've trusted you and loved you with my whole heart. But, in the end, you just tossed away my feelings like, it didn't really matterd to you."

I gazed his eyes, which showed love and adoration that has completely turned into anger and hatred.

I felt Goosebumps erupted on my skin, when I saw him gazing deeply into me. Unable to do anything, I just stood there listening to his broken words.

He let go of me and started to step backwards.

"I want this to be the last day that I ever see you. From this moment onwards, there's nothing between you and me. We are officially broken up."

With that, He left without even taking a glance at me. I just stood there, helplessly crying while, looking at his retreating figure.

"YAH...JUNG YOUNG JAE, ARE YOU GONNA WAKE UP OR WANT ME TO KICK YOUR BEAUTIFUL ASS?!!"

I jolt up from my slumber sleep after hearing a high pitched voice of my best friend scolding me.

"Nara..What's wrong with you? Why are you screaming like a mad women in the early morning?" I groaned while rubbing my closing eyes.

She chuckled at me after witnessing me keeping my hands over my chest, to clam my racing heart.

"Sorry darling. I tried to use my most humane way to wake up your lazy ass. But knowing your sleeping habites, I couldn't help but to use my own ways.."

I rolled my eyes at her remark and lazily got up from the bed.

"Well, you've been giving me this same excuse ever since our days during high school, Miss.Nara-sshi.."

"Even then, you still didn't learn to wake up on your own Miss. Jung young jae-sshi.."

I rolled my eyes again at her and stretch my body to wither off my remaining sleepiness.

"Fine. But, can you please enlighten me, Why the hell did you wake me up at this time. You know, I slept late at night after finishing my project work" I questioned her, while keeping my hands on my waist.

"Hey, Don't you remember, Your dad asked you to come to the office early to discuss some serious matters with you." She asked me while crossing her arms over her chest, lifting her brows at me.

At that time, my mind quickly went back my last phone call with my dad, informing me about our meeting today.

"OH SHIT!! I've remember it now" I clasped my hand over my head.

"Ah..I see you remember it. So now, Get you ass over the bathroom and leave for your business" she said, while ushering me to leave sooner.

"Thank god! I have a friend like you. I don't know what will I do without you" I said while hurrying my steps towards the bathroom.

I quickly did my morning routine and hurriedly changed into some formal clothing. Eventhough, I've been working at my dad's company, I can't just barged in there while just wearing some hoodeis and stripped jeans, right?

Finally, after getting ready to leave for the office, I made my way towards the kitchen attempt to make some toast before leaving, But my feet stopped at their tracks after smelling the sweet aroma of the pancakes, which is coming from the kitchen.

When I take a look at the kitchen, I saw Nara pouring chocolate syrup to the pancake, while humming a song.

I walk towards her, upon hearing my footsteps she stopped her singing session and l smiled at me, while holding the pancakes on a plate.
