Lucy's P.O.V.
We started walking to the Nightly Double. We were walking in three groups of two. In front was Ponyboy and Johnny, then in the middle was Dally and me, and behind us were Soda and Sadie. I looked back, Soda And Sadie were holding hands and she was walking real close to him. I moved closer to Dally he put his arm around my shoulders and kissed the top of my head. It was a pretty cold night which is why i was releived when Dally put his arm around me. Even though I had a jacket I felt warmer with him close to me.
"We're here" Dally said.
"Are we sneaking in?" Sadie asked.
"Of course," Dally replied.
We crawled under the fence, first Pony then Johnny then Soda went under and helped Sadie get through she helped me get through and lastly was Dally. It wasn't hard to get through for me and Sadie because of our small bodies. The guys had no problems getting through either but they had to pull them selves through where as we just slipped in.
"Do you do this often?" I asked Dallas.
"Ya, who wants to pay when you could just sneak in and get to see a movie for free?" Dally replied.
"Dal never likes to do things the legal way" Pony spoke up for the first time since earlier when Dally introduced him and even the all he said was hi.
"Oh I know, but he has been trying to stay out of trouble latley for me, right?" I said looking at Dally.
"Yeah, I gotta take care of my girl and I can't do that from prison can I?" he answered.
They all looked at Dally shocked. I don't know why, I mean everyone can change. They just need a reason to. Maybe I was his reason. Johnny and Ponyboy went and sat up closer to the front behind two girls, looked to be two Socs. Me and Dallas sat closer to the middle. Soda and Sadie sat in the back.
"Could I interest you in a coca-cola or a 7-up?" Dally asked.
"Sure," I smiled "and a popcorn?"
He nodded his head, leaned down kissed me then went to get the food. I saw Johnny get up to get some too. Pony was talking to the girls that were sitting in front of them. I don't know why they were Socs. Socs and Greasers don't just talk. I don't know Ponyboy seemed to be nice kid, maybe he was just trying to be friendly. So I just sat there and waited for Dally to come back.
Sodapop's P.O.V.
We were walking to the Nightly Double and I took Sadie's hand. She moved closer to me. I saw Lucy look at us then she moved closer to Dally and he put his arm around her. We walked a little longer down the mostly deserted street. Then we arrived at the movies.
"We're here" Dally said.
"Are we sneaking in?" Sadie asked.
"Of course," Dally replied.
All of us got in no problem and split up. Johnny and Ponyboy when up to the front behind a couple of girls.Dally and Lucy went to the middle area and we went to the very back. I don't usually go to the movies with the guys. There are a lot of other things I would rather do but I remeber Sadie telling me once that she loved going to the movies. So I thought it would be a good idea because she was so nervous about meeting the gang.
