Chapter XXII : Train Fun

As you made your way down to the underground public train, Tara and Sam couldn't help but observe you amidst the countless people exiting the train, each dressed in their distinct costumes.

Ethan asked "Is this even a good idea?" He said. Tara replied to him "You don't have to come if you don't want to." She said

"So we just peel off and the killer picks us off one by one? No, thank you." He said.

You held Tara's hand, gripping it firmly but gently enough to avoid causing any pain, while Sam, Danny, and Chad maneuvered their way into the crowded train car.

"Tara!" Mindy's voice called out, yet amid the bustling crowd, Tara shifted her gaze behind her and saw none. You were in front of her guiding her inside the train car, you held her by the waist protectively as people began to fill the space.

Mindy found herself blocked by the departing crowd. "Damn it, Chad!" She exclaimed, her desperation evident in her voice. Chad turned back to look at Mindy.

"Mindy, hurry!" Chad urged, the train emitting a series of beeping sounds as its doors prepared to shut. He reached out his hand toward her, attempting to bridge the gap between them.

Yet, just as Mindy reached out, the doors closed, Danny dragging Chad inside leaving Chad with his hand inside the train and Mindy on the platform. "Shit," Mindy muttered, her gaze fixed on her twin brother who was now inside the slowly moving train.

Leaving her alone when a hand hold her shoulder, scaring her. When she looked back she saw Ethan. "Get the fuck away from me, Ghostface." Mindy said as she lift the strap of the bag on her shoulder.

Moving away from Ethan, she moved away from Ethan. Lifting her hand in the sky "What? Move." She said but since Ethan doesn't have a choice.

He moved a little away from Mindy. Waiting for the next train to come.

INSIDE THE TRAIN

Chad were now looking at her twin sister's shadow as the train moved muttering "Mindy." Worrying over his twin.

"Where's Mindy?" Sam asked, Chad sighs as he get his phone to his pocket "She missed the train, I was about to wait for her when cute boy over here dragged me on." Chad said as he looked at Danny.

"I'm just trying to keep us together." He said looking at Chad. When Tara interjected "By pulling us apart?" She said, the lights in the train flickers, hearing oohs from the people inside. You just give Tara a light squeeze in her waist, shaking your head to her.

Sam just looked at Danny well Danny insisted on coming with Sam, after we ran into him on the street while making our way to the public train. It was evident that he wanted to protect Sam and, at the same time, his worry for her was palpable.

Chad looked at Sam "It's okay, it's fine she's with Ethan in the next train she'll meet us there." He said looking in his phone. You sighed at yourself saying sorry to Mindy mentally.

You were aware that part of the plan involved getting her on the next train with Ethan. However, Ethan wouldn't be the one attacking her; it would be Quinn. This was meant to confuse Mindy and make her doubt her suspicions about Ethan.

You were looking at Chad patting him in the shoulder "It's okay, she'll be fine there." You assured him with a small smile. He just nod muttered "Thanks."

Radio : The next stop is 79th Street.

As soon as Chad put his phone back inside his pants he looked at the crowd they were in "Oh shit." Chad said, looking at the crowd in front of us. As the train light flickers, you, Sam, Chad and Tara looked at your surroundings seeing different kind of horror costumes some are wolves, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, but most of the costumes were Ghostface.
