You, Kirby, Sam, Tara, and Chad stepped into the dimly lit theater, the air heavy with anticipation and a touch of unease. The soft glow of the overhead lights illuminated rows of seats, each one a silent spectator to the chilling scene that was about to unfold.
As your eyes adjusted to the atmospheric lighting, the vast expanse of the room gradually revealed itself. On the walls, framed posters showcased the various films that were part of the Ghostface franchise, displaying different kinds of clothing worn by the original Ghostface killers up until those of Amber and Richie.
The display also included the attire of the victims and the belongings they possessed, a haunting collection that included your own mother, Tatum, and your uncle Dewey.
"I've cleared out the entire place before your arrival, so this is the sole entrance and exit," Kirby explained, motioning to the first door. "Once he steps in, both doors will automatically close, trapping him inside. We're essentially turning it into a kill box."
"What about weapons?" Sam inquired, her gaze fixed on Kirby.
Kirby raised one finger. "I've got a single gun, and I'll hold onto it." She said. Before Sam could respond, Kirby beat her to it.
"I'm the only one here with a badge, and that's the way it's going to stay. We should be safe within these walls."
Your scoff interrupted her. "Come on, Kirby, let's not kid ourselves. We know we're not truly safe here. Having a weapon could give us an advantage if we need to defend ourselves."
Your remark earned a raised eyebrow from Kirby. "And do you have a weapon, Mr. Cortez?" she questioned, her skepticism evident.
You smirked, responding with a hint of sarcasm, "Well, Kirby, I've got my hands and body to shield their lives."
Inwardly, you held the secret of a gun concealed in your pants, ready to be used if the situation demanded it.
Tara playfully nudged your arm, letting out a chuckle at your response. "Well, I mean we could resort to smashing things to get our hands on some weapons," you said with a hint of sarcasm, rolling your eyes in a lighthearted manner.
Sam just sighs "You know what, I'm going to check in with Mindy to see if they're close." She let out, as she and Tara removed their bomber jacket placing on the theater chair.
You looked at them, you know Chad could protect Tara if ever those two psychotic siblings attacked while you talk with Kirby.
"I'm going with Kirby, princess you stay with Chad okay? I'll check in with you after." You said to Tara who's now being accompanied by Chad.
"I'll be with Chad, baby be sure to come and check me." She replied giving you a nod. As you hold Kirby's shoulder.
"I need to talk to you Kirby." You said as you pushed Bailey into somewhere the both psychotic siblings wouldn't know. "What do you want to talk about?" She asked.
You took a moment, your hand gently gripping her shoulder. "Kirby, I've already know who Ghostface really is. I can't continue with this charade anymore. Bailey's manipulating me, using my auntie's life as leverage."
Kirby stared at you, her expression a mix of shock and disbelief as she processed your words. "Bailey is one of the Ghostface killers," you continued, anticipating her skepticism. "I know it sounds insane, but I'm telling you the truth. Please, believe me."
Her brows furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean? Bailey was the one who murdered Peter and Sandra." You shook your head, your voice firm. "Bailey isn't just one of the killers; he's the mastermind behind it all."
