After Kirby and Bailey were summoned back to the police station last night for urgent work, you and Ethan were well aware of that work. It was related to the murder case of Peter and Sandra, where both of them were brutally killed in their own house by you and Ethan. The squad inadvertently discovered the truth when they stumbled upon the news on TV, where you and Chad were casually flipping channels for entertainment, trying to pass the time.
The squad was taken aback by the shocking news. They had left the siblings alone in their house, and when they departed, Peter and Sandra were still alive. But now, it was a different story.
To avoid suspicion, you knew you had to act just as shocked as the rest of them, particularly around Sam. She had honed her observational skills after experiencing betrayal from her own boyfriend, Richie, during the Woodsboro Killings, so you couldn't afford to slip up.
It was scary to consider that one day she might uncover your involvement with Bailey and his two psychotic children.
Now, you found yourself standing at the graves of the two people you and Ethan had mutilated that dreadful night. Your hands were tucked inside your pockets as you gazed at Sandra's grave. All of you were dressed in black, while you wore an all-black suit.
The entire squad, including Kirby, Bailey, Tara, Sam, Mindy, Chad, and Ethan, remained in the cemetery, the last remaining guests having already departed.
Her pleas that night had affected you deeply, but now it was becoming increasingly troublesome, as you felt the urge to satisfy the dark desires within you by seeking someone to kill.
The memory of her, with blood pouring from her mouth and her insides exposed after you had cut her open with your knife like a fish, lingered in your mind. It was unsettling to admit, but you were starting to find a strange fascination in the sight of the crimson red flowing out of her that night.
Maybe it would be just your father who likes red.
As you were lost in your thoughts, a pat on your shoulder brought you back to the present moment.
It was Bailey, pretending to be hurt as he observed your current state, but you knew all too well what kind of monster he truly was. Without saying a word, he gestured for you to follow him, and you complied.
As you both walked away from the squad, you reached into your coat pocket and took out a cigarette, lighting it up and puffing away as you went.
"Y/n, you did quite a number on your ex. I never expected you to be capable of such brutality, especially after your shared history," he remarked in a calm tone.
"That was nothing compared to what she deserved, Bailey. She's still that weak, pathetic slut who cried for help," you replied coldly. Bailey simply looked at you and chuckled.
"Interesting, Y/n. The person I once knew would have sacrificed everything for his loved ones. Is not here with me is the darkness starting to consume you?" he asked, tapping your shoulder..
But instead of feeling happy by his comment, you glared at his hand on your shoulder, your eyes darkening. "Don't you dare lay your dirty hand on me, Bailey, unless you want to lose it," you threatened, your voice laced with venom. Bailey merely smiled in response.
"Relax, y/n. If you keep acting like you despise me in front of your friends and lovely girlfriend, they might grow suspicious," he whispered, patting you one last time before retracting his hand.
You took another drag from your cigarette, the smoke adding to the darkness surrounding you. Just then, Tara's voice broke through, "Baby, you're smoking again." You took one final puff before throwing the cigarette on the ground and crushing it beneath your shoe.
