Months go by, I and Jeremy are being so free with each other. Such a friendly senior. I feel like I am talking to one of my friends. He is so good. Funny also.
Me : You are a good artist. Why don't you draw me?
@jeremy16 : Drawing you! Okay.
Me : Haha, kidding. I know you won't draw.
@jeremy16 : Nah, I will definitely draw you. I mean it.
Me : Really? Then thanks in advance.
@jeremy16 : Give me thanks when it is done.
Me : Then I will give you millions of thanks :)
@jeremy16 : But what will I get in return gift? :D
Yeah he's right. He will deserve a gift then.
Me : What if I also draw a portrait of yours?
@jeremy16 : Okay :)
People just say things like this, but they don't actually do. Making a portrait of someone for free, I don't think Jeremy will really draw me. And we have known each other for just some months. So I still don't have the belief in him. And in the same case, I am just a social media friend to him. So it doesn't make any sense to him to draw me. Wait, wait, wait.... Why am I thinking all these? I am overthinking.
[4 days later]
But I should bury my overthinking right now. I have a text from Jeremy.
@jeremy16 : Hey, your portrait is done :)
I mean how. He really did. Really! I wasn't expecting it. He made a sketch of me. And it is.... wonderful! Just like I said,I am giving him millions of thanks. And I am so eager to share it in my story. Story shared.
@jeremy16 : And my return gift?
Me : Can you please give me some days. I will draw you :)
@jeremy16 : Sure :) But how will I give this to you?
Yeah he's right. It's the time of COVID and we're all locked up. It's not possible to go out.
Me : We will meet sometime when the government lifts the restrictions.
@jeremy16 : Okay. Do inform me when you will be available.
Me : Sure.
Meeting him isn't that easy for me. He doesn't know about my parents. If I am ever caught talking to a stranger, they will not behave so well with me. Especially my dad. But that's not a concern now. We don't know when we will be able to go out again. Till then I am enjoying chatting with him.
