Chapter - 17

It's the last week of February. An evil plan is roaming inside my head, bunk a class. I have never bunked a class I swear. But today I will do it. I will not tell Jeremy about this. He will think I am a dull student who bunks classes. Today, I have English class. It's important but meeting Jeremy has been more important to me. My class will last for 1.5 hours. So I can have a great time with Jeremy. 
Me : Remember we will meet today? 
Jeremy : Yeah. But where to go?
Me : Umm.. Look, you will wait for me in Park Street at 11:45 am. And I don’t know much about that area but most of my friends go on dates with their baes at a restaurant in Park Street. And the restaurant has delicious food. It's well-known. So we will go there. It's also very near. 
Jeremy : Okay.

After finishing my online classes of school, I started to get dressed. I am wearing a dark purple shirt today, black jeans and a black scarf wrapped around my neck. As usual, I am making a ponytail. I added light pink lipstick to my lips. Perfect. I am looking good. I wear my wrist watch.

[ At 11:50 am, Park Street ]
I have been waiting here for Jeremy for the last 5 minutes. But not a sign of him is shown. Won't he come? Suddenly, he appears from nowhere. He is coming towards me. He has worn a grey shirt and black pants. At our first meeting, I was in a rush, so I couldn’t see him properly. But today I am observing him well. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, brown skin, wears glasses and the thing I liked most is his slight beard. I like boys with slight beards. He is good looking. He comes to me.
Jeremy : Hi, how are you?
Me : Fine. You?
Jeremy : Fine too. Let's go to our destination. 
Me : Yeah, sure.
We are going to the restaurant. It's on the 3rd floor. The name of the restaurant is Alimento Express. Alimento means food in italian. We entered the restaurant. We take a seat beside the window. Nice, gentle environment. 
The waiter gives us the menu.
Jeremy : What do you want to eat?
Me : What do you want? I am giving treat. Your choice today.
Jeremy : Nah, tell me.
I love pizza. Obviously I am gonna order that.
Me : I think the Mexican pizza will be good.
Jeremy : Okay. Excuse me, 1 medium sized Mexican pizza and 2 cokes please.
The waiter leaves.
I and Jeremy are having conversations. His voice is so gentle. I like it. He is very friendly. 
Jeremy : You are giving me a treat but I didn’t bring any gift for you.
Me : Come on, it's alright.
Jeremy : Nope. Okay take it.
He puts his hand in his pocket and pulls out a medium sized packet of kitkat. Gosh, my most favourite chocolate. 
Me : Thank you. It's my favourite. How'd you know?
Jeremy : You once told me that you love chocolates. And kitkat is favourite to most of the chocolate lovers.

Yeah, I love chocolates so much. And he made my day. I like Jeremy even more. He is so sweet. And also it’s February, the month of valentine's day. So the pack of kitkat has a message on it, saying " You are awesome." I feel so special. Though he didn’t have any intention in making me feel special but still I feel. 
Our pizza arrived. It’s so tasty with the white sauce. And for me pizza and coke is the best combination on Earth. Soul is happy with the food. After finishing our meal, we sat for a while. I have 30 more minutes. We are talking. Then I ask the waiter for a bill. The waiter brings the bill. I have that amount of money. Because during the lockdown, I saved a nice amount of money. But Jeremy suddenly pulls out a note from his wallet and drops on the table.
Jeremy : I don’t have change. Let's share.
He gives the most amount of the total bill. Only a tiny amount has left for me.
Me : It's okay, Jeremy. I am giving you a treat. So I will pay the whole amount. Take back your note.
Jeremy : No, Bella. It doesn’t seem good. You are a teenager. You can't pay the whole bill. And as a senior, I won't let you do it. I am giving half.
Me : Okay then give half. You have given the most amount. Only a little amount left for me.
Jeremy : Don't make it count please.
I pulled out the little amount of money from my wallet.
Me : Okay, it's nice. Isn't it?
Jeremy : Of course. It was great spending time with you. 
Me :  You too Jeremy.
He smiles and says, " You are looking pretty today, Bella."
I am blushing. I smile.
Me: Thanks. You are looking good enough.
Jeremy : Haha. Thanks miss.
My heart wants me to tell him, " Jeremy, I like you so much." But I stop myself from doing so.
Me : Okay, I have to go now.
Jeremy : Yeah, sure.
We are walking towards the main road. I have to take a cab. He hires a cab for me.
Me : Bye, Jeremy. Reach home safely.
Jeremy : You too, Bella. Goodbye.
He bids me goodbye. 
To me, it's the best day ever. I am falling in love with him. Oh God, help me. My first unofficial date with the boy I love.
