Nick felt all the things that off humanity him tried to hide deep down. The touch of Hope's hand on him, the warmness it gave him. The moment he felt her lips on his was that.

He was back.

Hope parted away with the boy to get her breath back. She looked at him, but he had his eyes closed. ''don't hide from me Nio'', she said taking her hand and caressing his cheek.

They boy melted at the touch. He took a long breath and opened up his eyes. They weren't red anymore. On the contrary, they were back to their normal brown colour. Everyone let out a relieved sigh.

Nick looked at all of them and couldn't help but feel guilt in him. He had done things that he never thought he would do. He almost killed Scott in front of everyone.

''nooooo''. Everyone looked at the mud man saying that. He didn't look so pleased, that his son got hit humanity back. Then it meant his plan wasn't going his way anymore.

''this is not over. My plan will not fail...''. ''oh, but I think it did. Nick's back to his normal self and you are getting your ass kicked now'', Jed said. Everyone looked at him. ''what? Aren't we?''.

Malivore rolled his eyes. ''you know Jedediah. You're just a boy, a child. So are all of you. Come on Rick do you really want your students to fight battles? They are after all children'', he said looking at the headmaster of the school.

Rick smiled at him. ''they aren't just children, they're special. I know they can conquer you and Nick just did. He got his humanity back and now you just have your minions. I however have not students, but family''.

Nick smiled at his godfather's word. Malivore noticed that. He pointed at Nick. ''you really think I won't destroy everything you have?''. ''you can try, because I will rip of your head and I don't care you'll find another body. I'll just rip that off and the next after that. You get the picture Malivore''.

Malivore smiled. ''have it your way Nick. I have a second plan''. Before anyone got to do something. One of Malivore's minions took a hold of Hope without anyone noticing.

Everyone tried to interfere and Hope tried to cut loose, but it was no point. It was like all of their powers were taken away.

Hope was now at Malivore's side.

''should have been with me Nicholas, then you'd precious girlfriend could have been saved from this''.

Malivore took up a wooden piece, but it wasn't just a normal wooden piece. It was from the oak tree. The only thing that could kill originals vampires and a tribrid.

Nick's eyes widened. ''h-how did you get that?''. Malivore just laughed. ''oh, you know good to have a monster that can go back in time and fetch me some things. You know I was never going to use it, because what kind of a monster would I be if I were to kill my son's epic love or whatever. But hey time changes I guess''.

Nick tried to let his wolf out, but it was no use. It was like something was holding him. ''yeah, all of you can try to get your powers. But it won't work. I did a little magic trick here before I came. Just a backup plan. You never know if someone crosses you'', he said manly starring at Nick.

''look Malivore we can figure this out. You don't need to kill anyone or harm then. We two are grown ups, we can figure something out'', Alaric tried to plead to the man while Rafael tried to ambush him.

The mud man noticed Rafael and took him by his throat. ''you think you can trick me? Well, think again. Let this be a lesson for you''.

He was about to rip Rafael's heart out, but Nick ran there just in time. The man let go of Rafael and his hand was now in Nick. ''nooooo'', Hope screamed.

It was like a switch on Hope came on and her powers were back on. She took the monster that was holding her and used magic to make him let her go. Then she used another one to make him fly.

Maliovre looked at his son with no hesitation in his eyes. ''well, should have known. You'll always try to save those you love''. Nick was hurting, but he knew he wouldn't die permanently if Malivore really did kill him there.

He began to feel dizzy and his vision began to come blurry. He saw Hope was coming to his rescue.

Malivore noticed the girl. ''wouldn't do that Hope. I know you also will do everything for those you love. That's why I have a backup backup plan. If you turn around you'll see what I'm talking about.

Hope turned around and looked back. There were her headmaster being held with a knife to the throat. ''yeah. Everyone knows Nick can come back, but Rick? I think his luck has runed out from resurrecting. Don't you think? He's just a human after all''.

While still holding his son's heart in his hand with it inside of the boy. He managed to get the wooden piece. He broke it which surprised everyone. ''yeah fake. You all really thought I had a monster who could back in time? Then I'd do something's differently''.

''please just let my dad go'', Lizzie pleaded. ''oh, Elizabeth. I could, but I won't'', he said with a smirk.

He looked back at Nick. ''now what should I do about you?''. At that moment Nick knew what he had to do.

He looked at everyone. He saw the twins being frightened for their father's eyes. He saw the other's not knowing what to do. He saw Hope who looked at him with so much love in her eyes at the same time pain.

He knew he had to do it. He looked back at Malivore.
