Nick's pov

I entered the school and was walking towards the boys bathroom, when I heard my name ''Nick''. I stopped and looked behind me, and there was Ric. I turned around and he was coming my way.

He stopped right in front of me. ''Nick I don't know if your da...''. I cut him off. ''relax dr S. My father did indeed call, but it's okay. I understand why you did that. I'm not mad''.

Alaric looked at me and gave me a smile ''good. Look I just want to keep you safe, even though you can do that yourself. Either way, shouldn't you be on your way to the beach or something? Josie said all of you were going there or?''. ''I know Ric. Thanks for that. Oh, yeah we are. I was just going to the bathroom then I'd go back to the others''. Alaric nodded then he went.

He stopped in his track and turned around to face me. ''I'm just wondering, how are you getting there''. I smiled ''with my car''. He narrowed his eyes ''Nick that doesn't fit all of you''.

I chuckled ''relax. Josie did a spell so I had more seats''. He gave me a look as he also raised his one brow. ''everyone?''. I gave him a smirk ''well, one has to sit on the lap, so not everyone''. He shocks his head a little. ''may I ask who's sitting and whose lap?''. ''Hope and me''.

He shocked his head more. ''what? We're the only couple. So, I thought it was better that way. Or would you like if one of the twins sat on someone's lap''. I saw Ric giving me a stare. ''alright, I understand. Well, have fun''. ''thanks, dr S''.

He was now walking away, but not before I heard him say under his breath ''use protection''. ''very funny dr S. You and dad think the same'', I yelled. As I said that I heard he laughed. After that I walked to the bathroom.

3rd pov

Nick was in the bathroom. However, he wasn't there to use it. He was just washing his face.

As he was doing there he smelled a smell he's very familiar with.

Hope had just opened the door. Nick who was still washing his face said ''Hope. What can I help you with in the boy's bathroom?''

She was looking at him while he washed his face. ''well, I thought we could talk. I mean you just left''.

Nick stopped what he was doing and took a towel that was right beside the sink.

He was finished and throwed the towel on the disk.

He had also got some of his curly hair wet.

He looked at the girl. He sighed ''I didn't mean to just leave. I don't even know why I asked you. I'm sorry. I didn't want to pressure you or something'', he said as he looked at the floor not meeting the tribrid's eyes.

She went to him and cupped his chin, so he had to look into her eyes. ''you didn't pressure me to anything. I just was a little caught back on your question. I mean we were getting there and then we stopped, and you asked. It was a little cute''. Nick raised his brows ''cute?''. Hope chuckled ''yeah''. Nick looked back at the floor.

There were quiet for some seconds before Hope spoke again. ''I want to''. With that Nick took his head back up and faced the girl.

''really?''. Hope laughed at him ''yes really. I thought that was obvious, at how many times we almost did''. ''yeah I mean you're right, but we didn't exactly say it. So, I thought you didn't want to anymore''. ''trust me Nicholas I want to, very much. To be honest I have had dreams where you and I did it, many times''.

Nick's eyes widened at that statement ''w-what? You're j-joking?''.

Hope smiled ''nope I'm not stutter boy''.

''when, why, how?''.

''good question, lover boy. Since we were fifteen''

''but I thought you liked Roman?''

Hope sighed ''I did, but I still had something towards you. Of course, I tried everything to make me forget it and move from it. That was because you were my best friend, and to dream like that about my boy best friend didn't seem okay. I don't know if you remember, but it was maybe a Saturday in summer I think. I was home in New Orleans. I was in my room and laying there. Then um I fell asleep'', Hope stopped.

Nick smirked ''then what baby girl?''. She closed her eyes and opened them again. ''I was having a dream like that, then I woke up by someone knocking on my door. I-I said come in and there you were saying surprise...'', Nick cut Hope off. ''oh, yeah I remember. That's when yo...'', then he stopped. ''no way'', he said with a smile on his face. ''that wasn't spilled water on your bed was it?''.

Hope took her head in her hand and shock her head ''no it wasn't''.

''you're saying that was...'', then Nick got cut off. ''yes it was''. ''and it was because of me''.

Hope looked back up at the boy, where she was met by a mischievous smirk. ''yes, happy?''.

''I mean, I didn't know I had that affect on you''. Hope rolled her eyes ''okay can we just stop talking about that now and go to the beach''. ''sure, wetty''. Hope looked at Nick and turned around to hide her blush.

She was about to go, but before she could. Nick spined her, so she ended up in his chest.

She looked up at him and he was already looking at her. ''relax baby girl. Your secret's safe with me''. With that he connected their lips.

They got interrupted by Jed coming in. ''shit sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt anything. I'll go''. As Jed turned around and went he said under his breath ''use protection''. ''come on everyone has to stop saying that'', Nick yelled as he looked from Hope to his best friend's direction. Hope laughed at that.

He looked back at his girlfriend ''to be continued princess?''. Hope smiled back at him ''okay lover boy''.

With that the girl broke free from the boy's grip and went out.

Nick stood there. ''I want to marry that girl'', he said out in the open.

He got back from his trance and walked out of the bathroom, towards the parking lot.
