Nick's pov

As I watched everyone and seeing my father's best friend having a knife at his throat. I knew what I had to do. He wants me and he'll get me.

''take me'', I repeated. His eyes widened. ''what?''. ''you heard me take me and let the others be. It's me you want or my body at least. If you quit with the games. I'll give up''.

I noticed he was checking me for some sort of lie, but I was sincere.

''you think I'm dumb boy?''. ''no, I don't. I know now''.

''no Nick, don't''. I looked at Hope and saw she was with tears in her eyes. She tried to get to me but it looked like Malivore had pull a barrier spell or some sort up.

He took his hands out of me and I gasped as he let go. I collapsed down.

I closed my eyes and began to link. ''Jed you know what to do. You and Josie. Run and get the arrow, then use it on me. As you do, make sure Josie does the spell right away''.

''no Nick. I won't do that. We'll find another way''. ''we can't it's to late. I have to do it''.

I broke the link and opened up my eyes. I looked up at Hope. ''don't'', I heard her voice in my head. ''I have to Hopey. It's the only way. I have a plan, you have to trust me''. I noticed she began to tear up. ''the plan is to kill you Nick, I know. That was always the plan wasn't it?''.

I couldn't lie to her, not anymore. ''yes it was. I'm sorry Hope. Jed's filling Josie and getting the arrow, but I don't want you to do it. Because I know you won't''. ''and you think Jed will? Your own best friend?''. I sighed. ''no but I hope he will''. ''don't do it Nick''. ''it's already done''.

I looked back at him. ''but if I do this, you won't harm them. If you do, we both know I'm strong enough to come back. So, you better not''. He took his hands up in defence, like it was a game to him.

''no, I won't Nicholas. You have my word''. ''your word don't mean a shit. That I learned from last time''. ''you may be right there boy, but I won't make that mistake twice''.

''Nick you don't have to do this son'', I heard my father say. I looked up at him and my mother. ''dad, mom I have to. It will make all of you stay safe, I hope. I'm sorry I wasn't the best son''. ''no Nick don't say that. You were always the best my boy. You're our hero and you have always been. We love you so much''. ''your mother's right son''.

I felt my eyes began to tear. ''it's better if we quit this hologram or whatever, I don't want you to see this''. ''we understand. We'll get you back my son. We love you''. ''I love you too''.

Suddenly they were gone. It's better that they went than to see me get killed even if they'd forget.

I looked at everyone and noticed Jed had gotten the arrow somehow. I looked at Joise afterwards and nodded towards her. She shook her head at first, but I gave her approving nod. I noticed she began to get tears in her eyes.

''it's okay everyone. Everything will be okay. I love all of you, even though you guys won't remember in a few minutes''. As I said that I noticed everyone looked at me, not understanding what I meant except Hope, Jed and Josie.

I looked at Hope last. ''you're going to be fine princess. You'll be okay. I know you will. You're Hope Mikaelson''.

She was about to say something when Malivore destroyed his human form and his original form came.

''sorry to cut this short, but times in now Nick''.

I didn't get the chance to do anything, before he made me stand up. He began to absorb me or like I was absorbing him.
