Chapter 2 questions and answers

Hope's pov

''so what did my father say about the ring?'', Lizzie asked when I arrived at the library. ''just the same Lizzie. We should just give up''. I noticed Josie looked down to the floor. ''a penny for your thoughts Jo?'', I asked her.

She didn't meet my gaze. ''uh, maybe dad's right. I mean it's been two months. We should focus on school and our lives not someone we forgot''. I furrowed my brows at her. ''so you think we forgot someone?'', I asked her intrigued.

This time she met my gaze. ''oh, n-no that's not what I meant. I just. You know let's just forget it. Whoever this Nick Salvatore was, he's gone''.

My eyes widened at her comment. ''Nick Salvatore?''. ''shit'', I heard her mutter. ''Jo how do you know his name is Nick Salvatore? The ring just said N Salvatore?'', Lizzie asked her. ''yeah care to explain that?'', Jed engaged into the conversation''.

3rd pov

Everyone looked at the brunette Saltzman waiting for an answer.

''uh I heard someone speculate the name. They came up with Nate, Nathaniel, Nikki and Nick. I uh I just took the first name I came up with. Therefore Nick. I don't know if that's his name so, I'm just speculating here'', she covered up.

''Josie I am asking you for the hundred time. Do you know something?'', the blonde Saltzman asked her sister.

Josie hesitated to answer at first.

''I don't I'm sorry''. ''do she know what?'', a voice said behind Hope.

Everyone looked to see no other than her new boyfriend.

''Ethan, hey'', she greeted him. ''hello there beautiful'', he called her.

She didn't know but when he called her that, it felt wrong for her. Like that it was reserved for someone else.

The Boy went to the seat beside her and gave her a kiss.

Lizzie gagged at the two. ''yikes get a room you two''. The two broke the kiss and looked at her. ''says the one who almost did it on the dance floor''. She rolled her eyes at Hope's statement. ''oh, shut up. I was drunk and that was a mistake''. ''why cause the dude wasn't hot'', Jed snickered at her.

Lizzie looked at the werewolf. ''no cause his breath smelled''.

Hope looked back at Josie who seemed out of it. ''you knew him didn't you?'', she referred to the Saltzman twin.

Josie cleared her throat and stood up. ''listen Hope for your own good. Stop. Let it go'', she looked at all before continuing. ''all of you let it go. It will just hurt all of you''.

''what are you talking about Jo?'', Landon asked her. She looked at him with tears almost slipping. ''trust me. It's better if you don't know. Especially you'', she referred the last to Hope.

She was about to go out when Hope stopped her. ''enough with the secrets Jo, who is he?''. ''it won't matter Hope''. ''it matters to me''.

Josie shook her head at the girl and smiled lightly, while holding her tears in. ''you could say he was someone close to you. You called him a best friend when you were little. Then a boyfriend. You could go as far to saying your epic love''.

Hope looked at the girl with wide eyes. She stepped back from the Saltzman girl.

Lizzie stood up and went over to the two girls.

''what the hell are you on about Josie?''. The girl looked at her sister. ''you loved him to Liz, like a brother. Even if you two dated'', she laughed while tears streamed down her face.

It was now Ethan's turn to stand up. He went over to his girlfriend.

''Hope are you okay?'', he asked her.

''I-I just need a m-minute alone'', she told him.

Shortly after she walked out the library and into her room.

''how do you remember him?'', Rafael asked Josie. ''because I casted the spell from all of you forgetting him. Only I shielded myself from it. Now I need to the same''.

''what do you mean?''.

She didn't answer her sister as she was occupied with casting the same spell, making them forget their conversation.

Hope was in her room. She began to search everything in her room, finding anything for his existents.

She gave up, but something catched her eyes in her bed under the pillow.

She walked right by her bed and picked the paper from under her pillow.

She read her name on it.

She began to read it.

As she read the latter from her former lover. It was like everything came back to her in a heartbeat.

First discussion

First jealousy

First confession

First kiss

First I love you

''Nio'', she whispered for herself.

She held the letter in her hand and was about to get out of her room. Suddenly a wave of something hit her and made her fall backwards and close her eyes.

''Hope'', a voice called for her. ''no, come on Hopey you have to wake up''. ''Hope. Wake up beautiful''.

She opened up her eyes. It was a little blurry, but she could see a figure in front of her. A figure she didn't recognize.

''oh, god she's finally awake''.

Her eyes stirred opon and there was Ethan standing in front of her.

She looked shocked, cause it was not him she saw nor his voice she heard.

''hey, you're okay, Hope'', he said hugging her. He let her go after a second. ''what happened?'', she asked as she looked at everybody standing there.

''well, we don't remember exactly, but we were at the library then suddenly something hit us all and then we woke up just like you. Only you got knocked out a while. So, we brought you back in your room'', Lizzie clarified.

She looked to see she was in fact back in her room. She looked at her hand, feeling something was there before but wasn't now.

Jo looked at her and got into her pocket, but before taking it out. She shook her head and let it slip back into her pocket. Knowing that is the letter Nick wrote for her.

She put a fake smile on. ''I'm glad you're okay, Hope''.

She walked out of the room. Tears escaping her eyes. Knowing she just did the spell twice because she couldn't keep her feelings in.
