criminal case: oneshots of chaos

chapter 23: in sickness and in health

summary: a request by Writer_Milo, gabriel is sick with the flu and doesn't tell anyone, but his boyfriends, amir and jasper, find out and aren't very happy with him.

author note: respect the ship that my friend requested, if you don't like it, then leave this one shot, i will respect my friends and the requests they have, i have every right to accept and refuse, and i will do this one shot.

gabriel didn't feel very good, he didn't know why he was feeling so unwell, he might have an idea about what happened, he was sick, he was very very sick, he felt tired and exhausted, he felt like he just wanted to lay down on the bed and sleep, but he couldn't do that for multiple reasons, In fact, He'll start naming a few of those reasons.

He didn't want to worry amir and Jasper a lot, for starters.

He was dating them after all, They treated him so well.

It's why he felt so guilty about getting sick, He knew that they cared about him a lot, They were very protective of him after all.

gabriel:'thinks'Come on Gabriel, You don't need to be sick right now, The others will be so worried about you, I'm sure that this will go away as time passes, At least I hope it goes away, If it doesn't then they will get worried, I can't let that happen, I'll just stay in my office, That should work, I just hope another murder doesn't happen, I can't risk anyone finding out about this, I'll just say that I'm busy with stuff.

He sits up on his bed and winces a bit.

He felt very sore and he wanted to lay down.

But he couldn't, He had to go to work.

gabriel:'coughs a bit and holds his throat'I should probably drink some water, that might help my voice a bit.

he goes to the kitchen and grabs a water bottle, he drinks it.

gabriel: ah, that feels a lot better, i should probably get some cough drops as well, that should stall it for a while until I get better, and hopefully no one will notice it, i'll just take it in secret, my office is usually closed anyway.

he grabs some cough drops and takes one, he hopes that he was ok.

if amir and jasper found out he was sick, they would take time off of work.

but the officers needed them, amir weather forensic scientist and Jasper's knowledge was needed with what happened in the recent events.

gabriel: it's just going to be for a few hours, you can handle being unwell for a few hours, everything is going to be okay....

So Gabriel went to work, he felt like a piece of shit to be honest, but he go handle it for a little while, he also took some medicine before he left, He even brought it with him to work in his bag, In case you started to feel unwell again, He would be able to take the medicine and cough drops, He brought a lot of water bottles with him as well.

If people saw him drinking a lot of water, People would start the question him and think that he's feeling unwell and dehydrated.

then they would find out he's sick.

then they'll tell amir and jasper.

then they'll worry and take him home, then they'll take time off of work to take care of HIM because HE got SICK.

so some time went by, it was an easy day for everyone, he just had to fill in some papers and sit in his office.

it seems like luck was going to be on his side.

until amir and jasper visited him in his office.

amir: hey gabriel, how are you doing?

jasper: since today has been so slow and peaceful, we decided to visit you and see what you were doing.
