"I know who you are! Reveal yourself. You don't have to do this please. This is not the way!" Ryder begged as he offered his hands.
Footsteps can be heard behind them.
"I think you have some back up?" the man said, "Okay, you got me," he started to reveal his face, "But Ryder, I will never surrender! I've come this far and lost too many!" he added.
The man's face is now seen, lush eyebrows and a manly smile.
Hope, Rico, and Logan who just arrived, witnessed what the man did, their heart boiled when they saw his face.
"James, YOU TRAITOR!" Ryder in fury, "Everyone, are you ready? Let's end this!" Ryder shouted as he threw a punch towards James.
A gunshot is then heard from behind. Ryder was distracted and looked behind instead, seeing one of Rico's mechanical hands that broken from the gunshot. Jaxon came in, aiming his gun towards Hope.
Ryder didn't know what to do because James is still behind him and is now also aiming a punch. Jaxon pulled the trigger once more and Ryder thought of stopping the gun.
"NO!" he shouted and a strong force spread outward from him which threw James behind and stopped the bullet mid-air. Ryder clenched both of his fist and the gun that is in Jaxon's hands started to crumple. Ryder was not even nearby. They never expected that he could also do telekinesis.
"Everyone, you fight Jaxon and I'll take care of James," Ryder commanded.
Rico, Hope, Logan, and Sophia are already running towards Jaxon when James threw a knife towards Ryder.
It pierced through the air and was inches from Ryder when it suddenly stopped.
"James, let's not put each other at a disadvantage, let's fight hand on hand!" Ryder shouted.
He punched James' face but James responded with a kick that threw Ryder to the air. Ryder recovered and stopped while he was in mid air. He exerted full force and aimed his punch directly at James, falling from mid-air.
James seemed to had gained Assassin's agility when he ducked Ryder's punch.
"What are you doing?" a shout from behind "Ryder, help!" and another.
He looked to where it is coming from and saw Sophia pulling Hope's hair, while Rico and Logan are still fighting Jaxon. Rico is at disadvantage because of his having one functional mechanical hand.
Sophia smacked the back of Hope's head which sent Hope unconscious. She then rushed towards Logan. Sophia pulled Logan from Rico and Jaxon while Jaxon managed to push Rico away.
Rico almost lost his balance and was still recovering when Jaxon pulled a knife rushed towards Logan who was held by Sophia. Rico ran to block the knife and was stabbed instead.
Jaxon's eyes grew wide when no blood flowed, but a tingling feeling rushed from his hand instead. The mechanical hand of Rico sparked and malfunctioned. Jaxon felt the tingling stronger but it was like a magnet that got him stuck being electrocuted.
Instead of having only his master to lose another servant, their enemy must lose one also. He no longer struggled to get away but held Rico instead. Both of them went shivering as electric current passed through their bodies. In moments, they're already at the floor.
All happened too quickly for Ryder to even react. While he was distracted, James managed to push a button which opened a part of the floor. A tied, unconscious Victoria is lifted up.
James ran towards Victoria, while Ryder who is still in shock from what was happening could not respond quick enough. But when he saw James running towards the unconscious Victoria, he also ran to stop him.
