At the junkshop, the sound of a gunshot echoed in the field of junks.
Both Brent and Gavin held their breath out of fear. Dan who is just entering the junkshop hid and snuck to where the source of the sound is.
The footsteps of the men who are heard running to an opposite direction. Two more shots are heard then footsteps are once again heard, they are drawing near him.
He pulled a confused, lone man to where he is hiding.
"Let me go!" the man struggles. Dan then recognized the voice.
"It's Dan. What happened?" Dan asked.
"We have to escape! We must run now!" the man said.

Back in Techno's room at Reaper's lair.
"It seems like you had made your choice, Seer!" Anonymous thought.
Ryder looked at the screen and read the contents of the message.
"To be a man who covets what is others' is like a crab,
A man whose success is other's failure is but a blind one,
But a man who plans others' demise shall get a taste of their own wickedness.
Death be upon you!"
Anonymous clapped, "Good choice, Seer!"

At the Junkshop.
"Come out! Come out, where ever you are!" the leader of the group said.
Dan who found someone asked what happened.
"Straighten up and tell me what happened!" Dan whispered.
"D-Dan! We have to run," the man insists. Dan then followed and they both snuck out of the junkshop.
"Gavin! Tell me what happened!" Dan commanded.
Gavin narrated what he saw as they sneak out. "I was on my way home when I saw Brent running here. Despite knowing that he was the one who planned to kill me, I was still worried when I saw his terrified face. I then heard of the same men who threw me at the river so I hid. I heard them run close to me but then a loud tone was heard. You know that Brent always has such a loud ringtone, right? I had a hunch and ran for my life but--" he stopped.
"But what?" Dan asks.
"Brent's dead! I saw it with my own eyes when I was escaping! They shot him, Dan. And they saw me witnessing what they did, we have to find help. We have to call the authorities!" Gavin replied.
Dan tries to calm Gavin down as he helps him sneak inside an abandoned warehouse near the junkshop.
"Hide hear and call the authorities, I'll distract them so that you can get help okay?" Dan said.
"But you could die, Dan. Don't play the hero here, their holding guns," Gavin told Dan.
"So you'll just let the both of us die here then? Just call the authorities, Gavin, my sister still needs you and my nephew couldn't sleep if you're not by his side, remember?" Dan replied.
Gavin is still hesitant and held Dan's arms to stop him, "But Dan--"
"Let go, Gavin. Take good care of your wife--my sister!" Dan smiled then forced himself out of Gavin's grasp. He ran back outside throwing scrap metals to the other side of the junkshop to distract the men.
