As Hermione turns and stares out if the window, she is surprised to see light coming from Hagrid's hut. She turns and grins at Ron and Annie
Hermione: I know something that could cheer you up
Ron: Give it up Hermione
Hermione: Hagrid's back!
The trio stare at each for a moment processing her words, then without warning they bolt for the door.
"That lit them up real quick" grinned Narcissa
"Jackpot"
"They really love the big man don't they" smiled Fleamont,
"Who doesn't love Hagrid" grinned James, the comment made the giant like man blush red, flattered by his words
Inside Hagrid's hut, the three of them have taken seats in the chairs at the table watching as Hagrid boils some water over the fire, face full of cuts and bruises.
Annie: Hagrid what happened to you?
Hagrid: [Shrugging] I'm fine I tell yeh
"Yeah, you don't look fine buddy" Sirius pointed out nodding at the screen
"Never been a good liar" Hagrid chuckled
Ron: Come off it Hagrid, we're not blind
Hermione: Was it because of your mission? [Her question caused an awkward silence to settle in the air]
Hagrid: [Sighing] Alright but this is top secret. Dumbledore sent me to... parley with the giants
Hermione: [Surprised] Giants?
Hagrid: [Looking around paranoid] Shhh! You don't who could be hearing!
"Yeah like Umbridge and her goons" scoffed Lily, not having a shred of tolerance towards the woman, she was just straight up evil and mean.
"Parley with giants, now that is a smart idea" nodded Orion Black
"It's Dumbledore, of course it's a smart idea"
Ron: [Lowering his voice] You found them?
Hagrid: Well they're not that hard to find to be perfectly honest. They're big see? [He pauses as Annie shifts in her seat] I tried to convince them to join the cause.... But I wasn't the only one trying to win them over
Annie: Deatheaters?
"Why would deatheaters be trying to talk to giants?" asked a confused James
"Probably for the same reason Dumbledore does"
"Would they join the dark side though?" frowned Rabastan as he asked
"They're not very friendly with wizards, Giants are" Hagrid explained "Hard to know"
Hagrid: Yes [The trio sigh, this was not really good] Trying to persuade them to join you-know-who
Annie: Did they?
Hagrid: [Shaking his head] I gave them Dumbledore's message. Suppose some of them remember he was friendly to them, I suppose [Hagrid eyes the piece of cold meat in his hand then turns to a whimpering Fang]
Annie: And did they do this to you?
Hagrid: Not exactly, no [The dog barks once more causing Hagrid to sigh and throw him the piece of meat] Oh, go on, you have it then, you dozy dog
