Annie's eyes follow Snape and Draco as they walk towards the door, leaving, but the secret looks they exchanged, it got her curious to say the least. Turning to Luna she gives her an apologetic look

Annie: I'm sorry, Luna but-

Luna: [Smiling] Have to go? It's alright I don't mind staying here, you can go, Annie

Annie: Thanks [Without waiting she dashes after them]

The witch exits the office and takes off her shoes, following after Snape and Draco barefoot, now hiding was the easy part. The hard part was keeping up with them. Corridor after corridor, she catches sight of them at the end of the corridor. She quickly round a corner before she gets caught. Draco was leaning against a wall while Snape paces in front of him. Annie stays put, making no sound as she listens in to their conversation.

Laughing in amusement Sirius pointed at the screen saying "Saw that one coming. I just knew she'd go after them"

"They were acting a little bit weird, weren't they?" inquired Marlene "I'd go after them too"

"Of course you would" scoffed the raven haired boy

"I'm ignoring you, Black, I find that when I do that, I get less irritated" smirked Marlene. Alice gave her a confused look "Less?"

"We share the same air... So yes, less" she sighs exasperatedly "I just never met someone as annoying as you" she growls

Sirius rolled his eyes at her comment "Don't act so high and mighty, you're not so good yourself"

"Whatever, pretty boy" she shrug

Sirius turned to his two best friends with whatever left of his pride and smiled "She thinks I'm pretty" he grinned in triumph.

Snape: ... You cannot afford mistakes, Draco!

Draco: [Glaring at the professor] I had nothing to do with it!

Snape: For your sake I hope you're telling the truth. Because if you're expelled I cannot help you.

Draco: [Growling in anger] Stop trying to get inside my head! I didn't do it, I had nothing to do with whatever happened to Katie Bell!

Snape: [Speaking more urgently] Listen to me, let me help you. I swore to your mother that I would. I made the unbreakable vow

Draco released a breath and gave Annie a small glare "I can't believe you followed us out" he shook his head "I mean that could've been private"

Snorting in amusement "Like that would stop her" commented Blaise

Draco didn't care that she listened, but he didn't want other people watching this. Because right now the looks he's receiving are very similar to those he got after the war, while he was still under investigation, they didn't treat him really good, not that he could blame them he was a suspected death eater and deatheaters ruined everyone's lives.

But with Annie's help during those two years he slowly started to get over it, little by little, baby steps. But some of the looks he's receiving are bringing up memories he'd rather just forget. He just wants to forget.

The anger, the mistrust, the sneers, disgusted looks, the insults, they were all etched into his memories, haunting him day and night. Annie's presence helped ease the pain, but it was still there, hidden but there.

And he knew one day, it was going to surface back out.

Draco: I don't care! I don't need your help, you can't help me! No one can. I have to do this. He made it perfectly clear that I alone must do this. Stay out of my business, stop trying to help me. I don't want nor need your help!
