CIV. Memories (1)

Silence hanged in the house as everyone stared at the sport where Rufus Scrimgeour was standing on not 5 seconds ago. Annie stood still by Fred's side as she waited for their reaction, she knew she was a tad rude to the man. George was the first to break the silence

George: Since no one is saying it, I will. [He sighs] Hot damn!

George's exclamation had the students laughing, because there were no more accurate words to say, especially after the way had talked down to the minister of magic. Annie chuckled, shaking her head.

"Hot damn alright" laughed Theo

Annie smiled fondly as she watched George and Ginny laugh from the corner of her eyes. She was taking in every detail of their happiness, she couldn't imagine how her life without the Weasleys would've been. They were the family she always wished to have.

They came in late, but boy did they feel the loneliness in her heart, they healed her. Eleven years of being mistreated were replaced by this loving family she was blessed with. She really couldn't imagine life without them, she was going to make things right for them, she was going to complete them, bring back their missing member and make everything go back to the way it was, before her... Before she came crashing down their lives.

She needed to stop thinking about this for now, for now she'll enjoy her time with them.

Ginny: [Laughing] That was awesome!

Annie: [Winced] I didn't mean to sound rude. I'm sorry Mrs. Weasley

Ron: Who cares! The prat deserved it

Molly: Ronald! [She stops turns to Annie and smiles] No need to be sorry Annie. You only told him the truth. Don't you worry about it, dear. I'll go start on lunch

Sighing Hermione shook her head at Ron and Annie "I swear to Merlin, it's like you two were meant to be best friends" she scoffed remembering Annie saying the same thing Ron said. She didn't disagree, Scrimgeour deserved that, but still there were more civil ways to tell him off.

Annie and Ron high fived each other laughing "Maybe we were" nodded Ron "Annie's like the sister I never had" he grinned

Ginny scoffed and gaped at her brother clearly offended by his words "And what am I? A clown?" she asked

"Sometimes you can be" nodded a laughing Ron

"I hate you"

These moments is what Annie loved the most about the Weasleys, this family was one of a kind.

Fred: [Laughing] That was really good, love

Annie: [Grinning cheekily] Does this mean we're on speaking terms again?

Fred: [Rolling his eyes] Not even close [With that he starts to walk away]

Annie: [Following after him] Oh come on, Freddie... Stop sulking

George, Ron and Ginny watch as the couple leave the kitchen. The three siblings give each other knowing looks. There was just no way Fred could stay mad at her. Not for long anyway.

Ron: He's going to be following her around like a puppy, in no time

Marlene laughed and commented "The ginger's too whipped to be mad at her"

It was a valid point, anyone who'd seen and Annie and Fred interact can tell how crazy in love they were. They've come a long way, and their relationship sure was challenging. But thinking about it, Fred hit the jackpot he ended up with the girl he had a crush on for a long time. He's had his eyes on her ever since they met briefly in king cross station when she was 11 years old and he was 13 years old.
