A few days later, Annie, Ron and Hermione are sitting together in the great hall, having breakfast, only stopping when an owl drops a letter on Annie's plate, Hermione's is the one to open it and Annie smiles as she pulls a copy of the Quibbler

Hermione: Annie, look it's your article

"I can't believe you've actually published an article" laughed Molly

"I bet Umbridge and Fudge are going to like that aren't they?"

Just then, a dozen more owls drop letters on Annie, she covers her head as the letters rain around her.

Annie: [Shocked] What on earth?

Hermione: Fan mail Annie! Responses to the article

Umbridge: [Appearing behind them] And which article is that, dear?

"Oh great, good job Rab you can to jinx it didn't you?" scoffed an annoyed Dorcas

"Hey! What the bloody hell did I do?"

"Well you said the U word"

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" he frowned

"Umbridge, Rab, it means Umbridge" smiled an amused Narcissa

Annie: [Eyes narrowing as she glared at the woman then smirked in triumph] I have just published an article telling the real story of what happened last June

"And someone grew a backbone"

"Look at how smug she looks" added Marlene "Annie 1, Umbridge 0"

Umbridge: [Turning an ugly shade of purple in her rage] And where is this article? [Hermione grins as she hands her the Quibbler] Right, I will confiscate this. Anyone found in possession of this magazine will be expelled

"Annie 1 and Umbridge 1" the same girls scowled

"The woman is really getting on my nerves, is her answer to everything is expulsion?"

"Apparently is"

Annie: [Frowning as Hermione giggles madly when Umbridge stalks off] What?

Hermione: She's done it to herself! Banning the article will only make people want to read it more

Ron: [Smiling] Hermione you're a genius!

"And you've only just figured that?" Sirius snorted at his own comment

"Hermione is the smartest person I've ever seen" a first year commented

"Hard to argue with that"

Later that day, students are seen entering the come and go room, Annie frowns as she sees Neville hovering back staring at the picture of the original order they had put next to Cedric's picture and the parchment that contained the names of the DA members. Today was going to be a tense training especially with Fred and Luke in the same place.

"I just feel like something might happen in today's training" sighed Lily

"I know what's you mean, I have the same feeling, this uneasy, dreading feeling" added Narcissa

"Whatever are you talking about? Today they'll be doing the Patronus charm" squealed a happy Marlene "It's a happy day"

Annie: [Walking towards Neville and stands still next to him, eyes fixed in her parents] Neville?

Neville: [After a long silence] I never told you this Annie, but I think you should know... Fourteen years ago a deatheater named Bellatrix Lestrange used the Cruciatus curse on my parents. She tortured them for information but they never gave in. I'm quite proud to be their son. But I'm not sure I'm ready for everyone else to know just yet
