A New Adventure

Chapter 3

The sun rises over the mountain tops and awakens the campsite with a warm glow

The team awakens and prepares for the expedition ahead.

To Corey's surprise Boots has a cup of tea in his hand for her

"Thought you would like a cup of tea" Boots says with a warm smile

"Thanks Boots, how'd you know I like tea?" Corey asks while taking a sip

"Lucky guess" Boots shrugs

Sipping her tea, Corey walks over the the others preparing breakfast

"Char char!" Charmander waves to Corey and Boots walking over

"Hey Char" Corey says gently giving him a Pat on the head

"Morning sleepy head" Sean says setting the table with bowls and spoons

"Mornin, smells great! What's for breakfast?" Corey asks taking a seat

"Some warm soup" Mike says stirring the pot

Corey lays her head down as Buizel and Cyndaquil come crawling out of the tent

"Bui, Bui Bui!" Buizel says pawing at Corey's leg

"Good Morning Buizel, you ready for some food?" Corey says looking up

"Bui!" Buizel says with a smile

As Corey starts to get up Boots puts his hand on her shoulder. "I'll feed them Corey, keep relaxing"

As Corey sits back down she glances up at Boots with a smile "thanks Boots"

Corey looks over at Sean who's giving her a smirk

As Boots feeds the crew their food, Mike begins to serve the soup "Breakfast is served my friends"

"Yes! Hometown soup, my favorite" Sean says and scoops up the soup

Before anyone could say anything, Sean takes the bite and immediately starts screaming

"HOT! Hot hot hot hot hot!" Sean yells with his mouth open towards the sky

After Sean's screaming ceases, the team's laughing dies down

"It's fresh off the pot bud, of course it's going to be hot" Mike says catching his breath

The crew finishes their soup and cleans the dishes with Buizel's water gun. They pack up the camp and head out into the wilderness

After of miles of walking and lots of talking, Mike holds his hand up in a fist

"Hang on, this is the spot" he says looking around

Both Corey and Boots share a look of confusion while Sean just blurts "what spot?"

"Where my next member of my team resides" Mike says confidently

Before anyone could question Mikes strange behavior, he takes off into the brush

"Mike!" Corey yells and runs after him

The other two run after Corey and Mike. The two boys catch up with Corey who's watching Mike sneak up on a Larvitar

"Hush boys, get down" Corey says with a hushed voice She crouches down so she wouldn't be spotted and the boys follow her lead

Before Mike is able to get close to the Larvitar, it turns to launch a rock at him

Mike narrowly doges the rock and sends out his Gibble

"Gibble! Let's add this strong member to the team!" Mike says with a pokeball still in hand

Gibble lunges at the Larvitar with brightened claws Gibble swipes multiple times and is able to land a few hits, however the Larvitar seems faster

The wild Larvitar head butts Gibble causing him to stumble back

"Gibble, let's give him a bite to eat! Use bite and bite down hard!" Mike says seeing his Gibble stumble

Gibble regains his balance and launches at the Larvitar mouth wide open to chomp down

Gibble lands the bite attack and continues to attack with metal claw to finally knock back the Larvitar

"Here we go!" Mike exclaims throwing his pokeball at the Larvitar

The pokeball bounces off Larvitar's head encasing it in the ball The ball rocks back and forth but then opens to reveal Larvitar ready to fight more

"Alright then! Gibble use sand attack!" Mike says pointing at the Larvitar

Gibble launched a sand attack at the Larvitar causing it to be blinded and injured. Before Mike could throw the pokeball again, Larvitar launched a rock throw at Gibble

"Gibble dodge it!" Corey yells from the bushes

Gibble narrowly doges and slashes at Larvitar, once again, knocking it on its back. Mike launches another pokeball at the stunned Larvitar. Rocks once, twice, captured

"Way to go Gibble!" Sean cheers while walking from the bushes he and the others were hiding in

Mike picks up the pokeball and smiles. "Welcome to the team Larvitar" he says looking down

"That's awesome Mike, what's the final evolution again?" Boots says walking up

"Tyranitar" Corey says walking up behind Boots and Sean

Boots and turns to look at Corey and smiles, "ah right, thanks"

"On wards Team Chaos!" Sean says holding up a stick like a sword

Mike chuckles and he snatched the stick out of Sean's hands and walks on while Boots and Corey share a look and smile, walking behind into the sunset
