-- (Brian's POV) --

I wasn't able to hear what she said when I said I'm coming and I quickly grabbed my keys and went out.

I was damn worried. Why the hell is she crying like that?

Mom caught me running outside and stopped me, "Brian, where are you going? It's zero visibility outside. You can't drive."

"To the Tyler's mom. I'll be safe," I explained.

"Why? Can't you do that tomorrow? Or later when the rain's gone," she worriedly forced.

"No. They are just seven houses away mom. Nothing bad will happen," I opposed.

I wanted to add, she needs me now.

"Fine. Just let me know when you got there. Drive safe," she gave up.

"Okay mom."

-- (Gabrielle's POV) --

I tried calling and calling him again. I need to stop him from coming over. It is very dangerous outside.

Please answer.

Another try and he answered..

"Gab, I'm on my way."

"Are you driving? Brian, you're completely damned."

"Yes I am."

"Oh god, you don't have to go! Don't you know we can just talk on the phone?"

"I know, if not you crying like there's no tomorrow...I'm here. Shit, I have no umbrella."

"Wait there."

I run downstairs and grabbed an umbrella.

When I opened the door splashing rain welcomed me. And now, I think the umbrella has no use at all.

I stood outside Brian's car and waited him to come out.

He grabbed the umbrella, placed his other arm over my shoulder and pressed me tightly into him.

Never in my life I felt safe than being in his arms after that phone call. And this is not normal. I hate it when he makes me feel this way. It must not be happening.

We went in and mom saw us as she walked from the bathroom.

"Oh. I don't know you are coming especially this early," she said to Brian.

"Yes, I'm sorry for barging in Mrs. Tyler," he replied.

"No problem Brian. Good you got here safe despite the rain. I hope you don't get sick for being wet, your body haven't recovered yet," mom worried over him.

"I think I had fully recovered Mrs. Tyler, because of your first aid," Brian joked.

Mom laughed and asked him, "Smart kid. Anyway, what's so urgent that rushed you here?"

He looked at me and lied, "Uhm. We have some school works to do. Since the class was suspended, I grabbed the chance."

"Okay then. I'll make some soup to warm you up," mom offered.

"I can't wait to taste that," Brian giggled.

I walked upstairs and Brian followed.

Before I got to turn to my room mom called, "Baby,"

"Yes, mom?" I replied.

"Are you two gonna stay in your room?" She worriedly asked.

"Uhm, I think so?" I replied.
