It was five in the afternoon and Brian is still here, since six in the morning. We talked too much about everything we didn't noticed time.

We've also came up into a plan of explaining to Courtney after the senior party. Both of us will get to tell her that our families are friends and so we became friends too. Just friends.

Anyway, the weather is better now and there is no more signs of typhoon left only cold breeze.

Brian stood out of my bed, stretched his arms, and said, "I really enjoyed this day with you. I hope we could do this more often."

"I hope too," I said.

I really enjoy his company especially today and I think it made us closer and more comfortable with each other.

"I think I'll be going now. I'm overstaying," he added.

I giggled and said, "I think so too. But I want you to know that you're always welcome here."

"That's good to hear. And with that, I think you should tell your mom to expect me to come every day and see you," he sweared.

I laughed and sarcastically asked, "Really huh?"

"Unless you don't want to see this hottie," he said pulling the end of his gray v-neck shirt up making his abs visible.

"Oh my god, what did you just say?" I laughed but inside he really made my heart beat faster with what he did. I knew he was toned but I didn't expect him to be this hot.

He smirked and said, "I'm a hottie. Don't tell me you disagree 'cause I know you're not."

I stood up and drew near him acting like I was checking him out from head to toe.

I chinned up at least to level his face and said, "Okay, you win."

He smiled at first but then his face turned serious and whispered, "Gabrielle, can I...kiss you?"

I turned away and arranged the notebooks on my bed while saying, "You know, friends don't do that."

"I'm..sorry."

"I thought we're clear with that," I said pertaining to our deal that we will be just friends for now.

He frowned and explained, "Yeah but when you looked at me like that, I forgot about our deal. I got turned -,"

"Stop. Thanks for coming over. It really helped," I cut him off.

"Gab, I'm sorry."

I looked at his puppy face and said, "Just promise you won't ask me that again."

"I promise," he said and I felt that he really meant it.

I chuckled looking at his about-to-cry face and said, "Okay. You can smile now."

He grinned and said, "You got me."

We went outside my room and he was about to say goodbyes to my mom who was on the phone.

"Oh, they're here," mom said on the phone.

Brian and I looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders.

"Okay. I'll tell her. Bye," mom ended the phone call.

"Who was it mom?" I quickly asked.

"Aimee. She said she can't contact your phone so she called to our home number," mom replied.

"My phone's in silent, I didn't notice. What did she say?" I nervously asked.

"She asked if your fine and if your shopping party tomorrow after class is still gonna pursue," she said.

"What did you say?" I asked hoping she didn't told Aimee anything that is dangerous for me and Brian.

"I said I'll tell you she called after you finish doing homework with Brian," she replied.

"You told her Brian is here?" I almost screamed.

"Yes. I told her. Why?" Mom asked.

Damn!

I looked down and said, "Nothing. Anyway, Brian's leaving."

"Mrs. Tyler thank you for letting me stay," Brian cut in.

"No problem Brian. Keep safe," mom reassured him.

He nodded and we went outside.

We went to his parked car just outside our lot and I said, "We're in trouble, again."

"But she's your bestfriend, right? I thought she already knows everything," he asked.

I leaned closer to him and whispered at my lowest voice, "She knows we are friends. What do you guess she'll think when mom said we are doing homework? We don't even have a class together. For sure she'll wonder why we made stories if we are just friends."

He held my arm and calmed me, "Hey, don't bother yourself too much. Okay? Stop worrying on things that might happen. We'll fix everything one by one. Now get back in and enjoy the rest of your day."

After dinner, I laid on my bed and checked my phone. Now, I'm ready to face Aimee's interrogation.

I got few missed calls and messages from her and here's the latest,

Text me when you're ready. Log on to skype.

I messaged her that we can now talk and logged in to skype for video call.

I wore my earphone and in a few minutes she answered my call.

Her face appeared on the screen and I said, "Hey,"

"Why aren't you answering your phone?"

"I apologize I got it on silent."

"Okay. Accepted. Now, can you tell me what is Brian TRULY doing in your room?"

"We -"

"And don't tell me you are doing homework 'cause I am 200% sure you're not."

"Okay, okay. We talked."

"Just talked? Then why the hell do you need you lie to your mom? You could have just talked on the phone! (she paused to breathe) Hey, I know he may come and go to your house but I still don't understand."

"Aimee. It is just so complicated but I swear we just talked."

"Okay. It seems like you don't want to tell me what is really happening. So I'll just ask you this, (she moved closer to the screen) are you dating Brian?"

"No."

"Look me in the eye."

"Brian and I. We are just friends."

"Okay. If that's the case, are you ready to shop tomorrow?"

"As ready as you are."
