𝚠𝚑𝚢 𝚍𝚒𝚍 𝚒𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚋𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞

chapter 1

theos dad pulled into their new driveway of their new home. theo moved his orange hair that covered his eyes out of the way to see the house. he hadn't seen the house yet before now. it was a decent sized house. light yellow exterior, two stories, a decent amount of widows. one of which were broken. a nice navy blue door with a few scratches but it wasn't too shaby. he checked his pockets making sure he had everything.

"my room is the one upstairs to the right. don't touch anything in there." theos dad willy, said sternly. theo nodded and got out of the car grabbing his backpack. he went to the back of the car and grabbed two boxes out labeled "theo's wall shit".

he walked to the front door and swung open the door and walked in. not long after he kicked it shut though. he was met with a hallway. in front of him was the stairs that he assumed led upstairs. he looked to his left and there was a front room with a couch, recliner, a lamp, and a TV. if you looked close enough you could see a sliding door that led to the dinning room. when he looked to his right there was a doorway that led to the kitchen and pantry. if you looked throught the kitchen you'd see a doorway that looked like it connected to the dinning room.

theo marked upstairs turning to the left seeing a bathroom and a closet with the doors wide open. the reason? couldn't tell yah. although I'm a narrirator I don't know Everything although that would be neat.

he walked into his room to see a empty bed a desk, and a shelf just sitting there. next to his bed was a window and next to his desk was a closet. decent spaced in his opinion. he closed his door and began putting up posters and everything. he hung vines over the backboard of his head, he put his sheets on his bed and hung up his led lights. he put up his pictures of his old friends up and put all the figurines he had collected over the years on his shelf. he also put the arrangement of books he just so happened to have with him on the shelf as well.

"THEO!" willy yelled up the stairs. theo jumped a little at the sudden noise.

"COMING DAD!" theo yelled from his room while heading to the stairs. he was his dad at the front door.

"Nikki's here" willy said and theos face lit up. Nikki had been his friend for years they talked everyday. two years back Nikki moved from burnsville to Ashton. Nikki's mom talked to willy and convinced him after theos mom, lilly, died to move out here to help theo recover from the loss. theo looked at Nikki and she really changed look wise from the last time he saw her in real life.

Nikki stood in the door way, she had brown hair in corn rows that reached her mid back. her brown clear skin went well with her eyes. her eyes were a dirty green and she wore a dress that was pink on top that faded to red on the bottom. it had white spots scattered around. she wore light makeup and she looked amazing.

when she saw theo she ran and jumped into his Arms and wrapped him in a warm embrace. theo gained his balance and hugged her hard. they both were smiling uncontrollably.

"I missed you so much kiki!" he said looking at her excited.

"I missed you too my little highlighter!" Nikki said and theo rolled his eyes at her.

"really? still with the nickname! my hair was green for a week!" theo said ruffling his hair.

theo had dyed his hair neon green around four years ago. earning him the nickname highlighter by all his friends. he secretly loved it but sometimes it could get annoying. on the same topic of the nick name "highlighter" that theo got after his poor life choices. they branched off of highlighter when they got bored. the list went on for miles. light, Lili, lil lighter, marker, flamey, Walmart version, high, zaza boy, hight, sky, leaf, sharpie, ext. any name you could think of, they already thought of it. 

nikki laughed and nodded to respond to theo.

"that era will live forever, especially with the amount of photos we all took"  nikki said going to open her phone. theo put his hand on her phone and shook his head. 

"thank you nikki but i don't need to be reminded, thank you very much" theo said and nikki just laughed and hugged him.

"i really missed you." she whispered while hugging him and he hugged her back while smiling. theo let go and pulled her to his newly decorated room and she just looked around.

"so, hows it look?" theo asked and nikki examined the room.

"looks good bestie, not my style but i like it" she said sitting on his bed. theo pumped his arm then grabbed his phone to sit next to nikki and take a photo. 

they sat and talked for hours on end until nikki had to ask.

"are you ready for school tomorrow?" nikki asked and  theo groaned.

"really. reallly nikki. you had to ruin the mood?" theo asked her leaning back onto his bed. nikki rolled her eyes, nikki was always the one to ask the lame questions to "ruin" the mood. 

"im just curiouse. they arranged it so that we have all classes together! im so excited! arent you?" nikki asked and theo looked at her.

"that gives me another reason to dread school" theo said with a smirk and nikki playfully slapped him. " aw fiddle sticks, ive angered the princess" theo said and nikki flipped her hair and huffed.

"yes you did, off with your head!" nikki yelled and willy hit the side of the wall and they both quieted down. the silence made them both chuckle. nikki pulled out her phone and looked at  the time. the clock on her phone read 7pm. she looked outside and it was still fairly bright out

"hey theo, id love to stay but i gotta go" nikki said standing up and fixing her dress.

"ill walk you home" theo said standing up grabbing his jacket walking her to the door. as they got to the bottom of the stairs theo yelled up the stairs to his dad.

"IM WALKING NIKKI HOME" he yelled and they both bolted for the door. they walked down the street looking around until theo and nikki heard a voice coming from behind them and the voice was calling for nikki. her and theo turned around and saw a girl with carmel skin and beautiful wavy brown hair. she was wearing a pink long sleeve turtle neck with a yellow mid thigh length skirt. she wore fishnet stockings and some long cool toned socks with black boots that added on maybe two inches. she was still shorter than theo but the same height as nikki. she had some dark blue eyes that really stuck out.

"OH ash!" nikki said excited. they both hugged and theo just kinda stood there awkward as ever. ash looked over at theo and smiled.

"whose this nikki?" ash asked putting her hand out for theo to shake, which he did.

"this is my best friend theo, ive known him forever. hes gonna be starting with us at the school" nikki said moving next to theo as ash and theo let go of each others hands.

"oh well thats nice, i cant wait to see you there! its really a nice school once you look past the stuck up bratts that attend the school aswell" ash said and they all chuckled.

"i think ill manage" theo said and they all made small talk before theo and nikki said goodbye and walked away to nikkis house. when they got there theo hugged nikkis mom.

"hi mrs.loon" theo said.

"hi theo! its been too long. i missed you always coming over"  she said and theo smiled.

"i missed always being here" theo said and they all smiled.

"well i should get home, the old man is expecting me" theo said and nikki hugged him.

"okay hun, see you tomorrow i suspect?" mrs. loon said and theo nodded.

"you bet, bye nikki, by mrs. loon"" and with that he walked his way home.
