It has been a while since I stopped going to Taylor's house so frequently bc my aunt and my cousin started having a lot of conversations about me not being arround them so much. Kate, always asked me stupid questions, she knew something was going on and i didn't know what to say anymore, I just ignored it.

"cmon ivy, you don't even tell me things anymore. We used to be together all the time in class and you always went out at night with me, Witt and Lilly. They don't even expect you to align in our group plans anymore. I know that now, taylor is your "best friend" and all, but, I honestly think that you are owning us at least a full group reunion"

"you're right, I'm really sorry for distancing myself like that. And me and tay, we don't have anything".

"Do you really think you can convince me? You may never have told me the details, but it's obvious that you're involved. That's the only plausible reason I can find for you not hanging out with us so much anymore. I know you're madly in love with her, but please don't ruin our friendship"

"I'm not going to ruin anything, I know I've drifted apart and that's wrong, but you and Lilly are dating now too and you spend a lot of time at her house when we're not in class, I thought you'd understand me".

"of course I understand, but what I'm trying to tell you, is that there are times to be with your friends and other times to be with your girlfriend".

"okay, we're going out today but no girlfriends then"

"so it's supposed to be just me, you, and Witt? Lilly has always been part of the group and I'm not going to leave her out just because she's my girlfriend"

"but that's so unfair! If lilly can go, so can taylor. Even Witt is taking his girlfriend and his sister."

"but we have normal relationships Ivy! Wherever taylor goes, there will be paparazzi! Sorry but you can't invite her"

"So I'm just going to stand there and sail? Is that what you want Kate?"

"Maybe if you didn't try so hard to hide your relationship everything would go better! When are you going to tell our friends where you've been? What justification are you going to give them?"

"I don't have to justify my love life to anyone, and keeping my relationship with Taylor private is not my choice alone. Trust me Kate, if I could take her on in front of everyone I would, but I can't bring her out of the closet against her will! And don't give me the paparazzi crap because we're all actors too! We might not be as popular as her because we're still studying and we only do a few simple jobs sometimes, but damn! We're all in the same boat, you don't seem to see that!"

" you're right, I'm sorry too - she says trying to calm me down - I'll tell you what, you don't take Taylor today and you keep Chloe, Witt's sister, company, she's not taking anyone either, is that ok?".

"fine I'll go" I say giving up from showing my point of view.

"yes! It's going to be so much fun, we are going to bowling" - Kate says all happy.

We went to Frames Bowling Lounge all together. We were there by 10 pm, and tbh, I actually was enjoying the game and  just being with my friends. Of course I still wanted to bring taylor here, and i missed her, especially when I saw Lilly kissing Kate or Witt kissing Leah, but I also enjoyed talking to Chloe a lot.

She was a redhead, had long hair, and freckles. Like me, she seemed out of place among all the couples and we ended up standing in a corner just watching our friends play while drinking vodka.
