JaMaya POV:
When I saw Zayne on my bus I was a bit shocked because I had never seen him here before. So I walked past him because I had a feeling he wanted to talk to me. Besides I didn't know what to say and I damn show ain't wanna sound thirsty. So I sat three seats down from him.

My heart dropped when he decided to pick up his balls and sit by me. We introduced each other but it was no need because I already knew him. I just didn't understand why his ass gave me his street name instead of his government, especially when I already knew it. I was surprised he asked for my number, but he gave me an automatic red flag.

When I got home I hopped in the shower and got ready for work at the Cafe. I had one co-worker there I could call my friend. Her name was Kinsely and we had known each other for five years. She was religious, kind, and someone I could vent to daily. Today I was a bit quiet which meant I was in my head. Zayne texted me but I never responded because I didn't want him to label me as "easy". So I ignored him for hours until he showed up at my job with his boys from lunch.

Kinsely tapped my shoulder.
"You got table number seven".
I looked over there and it was Zayne and his boys sitting at table seven. I took a deep breath and said SHIT! At least four times in my head, before I went over there to serve them.

"Hi my name is JaMaya, I am your server today. What can I get for you guys".

Sosa spoke first before Zayne could get a word out. "You guys serve breakfast in this bitch at this time"?
"No, only lunch".
"Damn. Well, I'm looking for some good to eat. Are you on the menu"?

I tried so hard not to laugh and keep my composure and surprisingly I did. I could tell Zayne was getting jealous because of the way he was looking at his cousin. "Nah we will all have The Ranch Buttered Chicken Sandwich". I begin writing their order on the blank white pad. "Okay, & your drinks"?
"Strawberry Fanta".

Zayne couldn't stop staring at me. Let alone stop smiling. I turned away and turned in their order. Out of nowhere, Kinsely pulls me into a corner. "Whose the hottie staring at you at table seven".
"Zayne Trago, but it isn't that serious".
Kinsley had a stink look on her face.
"Wait. Zayne's Trago that's a part of YRM"?

"Yes", wondering how the hell she knows".
"You know he has a girlfriend, right".
I smiled.
"Yes, ofc. That's why I'm ignoring him".
"Good", she said hugging me tightly.

The bell rang signaling that their order was ready. I brought their food and drinks over and said "Enjoy". After my shift was over table seven left me a huge tip of a hundred dollars. Cali Cafe was a popular place to go for dates, hook-ups, or just any celebrations.

If you couldn't tell I was a waitress there and it was overwhelming since Zayne and his friends were there. I looked at my watch and I saw that my mother was late picking me up. So I decided to walk the three blocks home. When I started to walk home I saw a black car following me.

I wanted to dash but then the window rolled down and It was Zayne. "Do you need a ride? It's kinda dark out here". In my head, I thought of a million reasons not to get in his car, but fuck it.

He started the conversation off since his car was dead quiet.
"So how come I never seen yo la ass before"?
I chuckled. "Idk".
He smiled. "Why are you so uptight".
"How's your girlfriend"?

After saying that the car was dead. I was finally home and I went inside the house. When I walked into the living room my mom was slumped on the couch sleep. I went upstairs and took a shower. When I got out I went straight to bed but for some reason, I couldn't sleep.

My mind was up thinking about Zayne.
