One week later (35 weeks of pregnancy)

"Meh~ Finally, you listened to me, huh?" I teased Bright, who was driving next to me. He rolled his eyes and kept on driving. Guess he was kind of getting sick of my remarks and the amount of times I made fun of him.

"I am going to drop you at Ma's place. Is that okay?" he asked, changing the topic.

"What! I dare you to do that, and you'll sleep outside the house," I warned.

"Now, now, what am I supposed to do? I can't leave you alone at home, that's why I brought you with me. You must go there." Bright reasoned.

"Nope. Now take me with you. Let's go meet the bro." I said, talking about Bright's... previous girlfriend's brother, Luke.

"No way. It's just my luck he was okay with this formal meeting outside the court. We don't know how he will act there, so you cannot meet him." Bright said, trying to put an end to the conversation.

"Oh, you shush. I am tagging along with you. There's no harm." I said, shrugging.

"He's not your typical guy," Bright said.

"So what? He doesn't know my moves! I will kick him in his face if he does anything bad."

"And how are you going to do that while you are carrying Bubble?" I slowly pat my bump as he says that.

"You can carry Bubble while I kick him in the face," I replied dumbly.

Bright sighed in annoyance, finding no way out of the conversation.

"I honestly don't like this idea. I want you to stay out of this business..."

"I am not poking my nose into any business Bright. I just want to be with you all the time. It's almost my due date and you understand that I am feeling emotional, so take me with you or else I'll stick to you like a leech, if that's possible. Hmph."

"Fine, nuisance. Tsk, when are you going to stop bugging me like this?" Bright asked in a joking manner.

"Never, you are stuck with me till you die, remember? We became lovers after you said that!" I reminded him.

"Yes, you pissed me off that day."

"And you scared me! You looked so mad at me!" I exclaimed.

"I was. But it's not like we didn't argue again." Bright said, reminding me of the time we argued over... absolutely nothing and when I almost tried to leave the vehicle. "You've always been a nuisance."

I pinched Bright's hand and pouted.

For the next few minutes, we were in comfortable silence, even with the radio is silent. It was really peaceful to have him next to me in the silence.

Finally, we reached a decent-looking place.

"Ooo," I exclaimed as I saw the big building.

"I hope this place is good enough," Bright said as he removed his seat belt.

"It's awesome silly," I replied with a laugh.

Bright got down from the vehicle first and opened the door for me as usual. I got down with his support. He quickly took his jacket from behind and draped it around me. I looked literally like a couch potato being wrapped and all.

"Comfy?" he asked, and I hummed. I was more than comfortable.

After he made the collar of my jacket, he closed the door and took my hand, intertwining our fingers lovingly. Then we started walking inside. Before we could step in, someone called Bright's name, and we turned to face his lawyer.
