"Dude he's checking you out," Anne says and she may be correct but I don't care. "I don't care, Anne, Look at him. Lay your eyes on him for one second and tell me he doesn't look like bad news." I say and Anne nods. "He does, but don't judge a book by its cover." She says. "You know I can't risk it," I say and she finally understands. I hate that with everything I do I have to think if it'll bring my family in danger. I can't even have friends, do activities, or have fun without thinking of the French being around.

Anne puls me towards the dance floor and we start dancing like two idiots. We probably look like we've never heard a beat in our lives but who cares we're having fun. A blond guy starts talking to Anne and they start dancing together. I'm not gonna gate keep her from doing her thing just because I don't want to. I walk away from the pair and towards the restroom. I do my business and wash my hands. After I touch up my makeup before walking back into the club. I sit back down at the bar not knowing what to do.

All of a sudden I feel someone's presence next to me. I turn to look at the person and see it's the guy from earlier. I give him a friendly smile and look away. "I've never seen you here, is it your first time coming here?" He asks and I nod my head. "Can I get your name?" He asks and I look at him. Two ocean-blue eyes look at me with a sparkle in them. "My name is Lisa." I lie knowing I can't be telling everyone my name. "Well Lisa I'm Jason, and I think you are very beautiful." He says to me with a smile. "Thank you," I say and I look down. I don't why but every time someone calls me beautiful I feel so shy.

"Why are you sitting alone?" He asks. "My friend found a boy and they left," I say while shrugging. I'm used to it, Anne always finds a boy to hook up at parties. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for the right person and the right time. "Why are you alone?" I ask him. "I'm here forced, to be my cousin's bodyguard." He says. I look around and see Anne walking up to us with the boy from earlier. "Hey, we're going to his house will you be fine?" She asks and I nod my head. Not really but I'm not gonna ruin her fun. "Okay bye, call if you need me." And then she is gone.

Now it's just me and this stranger, well not just us but you get what I mean. "How are you going home?" Jason asks me. "I think I'm gonna walk," I say. It's no problem since my heels aren't that high. "If you want you can come with me." He says. "I don't know," I say. "We're not gonna do anything, we're just gonna sleep." He says. While all the voices in my head are screaming No I can't help it listen to the softest one. "Yeah, that's good."

~~~
Now we're sitting in his car in awkward silence. Not that I'm complaining, because the more I talk the more I can slip up about my real life. We drive into a fancy neighborhood and the gates of one of the mansions open when we arrive. He parks the car and gets out, then walks around the car and opens the door.  I get out of the car and look around me. It's a large house and a beautiful garden. "Let's go inside." I hear Jason say and I start walking behind him.
He opens the door and lets me enter the house. I notice him scanning my body as I walk past and I can't help to enjoy it. "You want something to drink." He asks me and I nod my head. We walk towards the kitchen and he gives me a drink. "So Lisa where are you from?" He asks. "I'm Italian, and you?" I ask, Gosh I wish I was less awkward. "I'm from France." He says. Is he? No, he's not stopped being a weirdo. Whatever you say.
I look at him and notice he has blue eyes with dark hair. Tatoos are reaching his neck and on his hands are some too. His hair is combed and styled back with some gell, making him look very formal. "If you take a picture it will last longer." He says and it makes me roll my eyes. What do guys have with saying this? "No thanks, I can barely stand looking at you right now," I say.
 "Did you just roll your eyes at me?" He asks while getting closer. "Yes, I did you've got a problem with that?" I say while rolling my eyes again. "If you roll your eyes at me again you'll be screaming my name the next time you do understand?" He says while spreading my legs and standing in between them.  "You wouldn't dare," I say with a smirk. I don't know where the confidence comes from, but I'm okay with it. "Wanna bet?" He says getting closer. Our lips almost touching. And even then I rolled my eyes.
