Colet's POV
When Reign and I arrived in Baguio, we immediately booked a hotel near the town. Maloi told me to meet them sa bahay ng lola ni Stacey to have breakfast together. As much as I want to rest upon arriving, I still need to meet my friends, meet the tailor, and meet my client later tonight. Geez, I should have put them together in one conference call para minsanan nalang.
"Are you coming or what?" I asked Reign. She's taking too long, my friends are surely waiting for me to arrive. Naiirita na ako sa pagiging slow and pabebe niya.
"Yes, babe. I'll just finish this. I want to look good in front of your friends." she told me while putting her mascara.
"Annoying, the fuck!" I whispered. Bakit ko nga ba siya dinala rito?
Nang matapos siyang mag-ayos, we drive to grandma's place. Good thing Maloi already sent the location so it's not that hard to find it. Nahirapan lang ako dahil sa traffic at daan. I feel like I'm riding a space shuttle.
"So, you're Colet." Stacey's grandmother said as we eat our breakfast in their dining area. I nodded and smiled.
"You know my name po?" I asked. Grandma chuckled as she wipe the corner of her lips with a napkin elegantly.
"My granddaughter's best friend used to tell me about you." I suddenly stopped eating. I realized that they're all looking at me. God, this is so awkward.
I heard Stacey laughed to remove the awkwardness. "You don't have to tell her that, Grandma."
"Sinong granddaughter's best friend?" Reign whispered to me but I didn't reply.
Stacey's grandmother shrugged and realized that one person wasn't around.
"Where's Jhoanna by the way?" she asked.
That's it.
