Colet's POV
"Where are we going? Why did you made me bring clothes?" Chie asked. I'm driving beside her.
"Secret. But for now, sleep ka na muna. Malayo-layo yung pupuntahan natin." I took a glance at her for a second I smiled.
"Luh, papansin na ngiti yan, nakakakilig." she blatantly said.
"What? I am not even doing anything." I defended.
"That's the point. But did you know, when I received your text message that we will go somewhere, I instantly jumped in glee. Like, hello? You're hot and you were freaking asking me out. Who am I to say no?" she laughs, hindi ko maiwasang sulyapan siya habang nagkukwento. She's full of life, and even though she has everything, she's always this humble and within the reach Chie Filomeno.
"You're loud." I told her, trying to hide my smiles.
"Sige na nga, I'll sleep muna. Wake me up when we arrived sa "somewhere" mo." she said and adjusted her seat. I nodded and focus on driving.
Few hours later, we reached Tagaytay. This is one of my place to go noong naging missing in action ako for 6 months. I want our first date to be memorable.
I was about to wake her up when Gian texted. Wala ka 'tong mga kaibigan at ako parati ang kinukulit? Not that I'm compalining though, I love his vibe.
Gian: Colet?
Colet: Hey! What happened?
Gian: This week na 'yong surgery namin ng mom ko.
Colet: Really? That's good to hear. Ano sabi ni Jhoanna?
Gian: She's relieved. Do you think magiging alagain ako?
Colet: Dude, mawawalan ka lang ng isang kidney pero magagawa mo pa rin mga gusto mo. You have to be extra careful lang.
Gian: Paano pag nag fail?
Colet: It won't fail. You can do it, okay?
Gian: Thanks, Col. Where are you pala? Do you wanna eat outside?
Colet: Crush mo ba ako?
Gian: Hindi kita type. Si Jhoanna lang type ko.
Colet: Bummer. Sasagutin naman kita eh.
