Colet's POV
We're all here at Maloi and Stacey's house because finally, they've adopted a baby girl. Aiah Elize. They named it after our best friend.
I was gonna get a food from the kitchen when I saw Jhoanna holding a sleeping baby Aiah in her arms. I instantly smiled and approached them. Two weeks ago, Maloi and Stacey decided to make a "family day" for Aiah. They said they want Aiah to be close with her aunts and uncle so every Sunday, we all gather together for Aiah.
I asked Chie to come with me but she said they have a family dinner today so I went alone. Plus, I'm gonna meet her sister tomorrow.
"Hey!" I greeted Jhoanna.
"Hello! Colet, can I ask something?" she smiled and gave Aiah a pat on her little thighs. I sat beside her para mas lalong mapakinggan ang sasabihin niya.
"When you and Gian are alone after his operation, what did he say?" she asks.
"Wala naman, he's just worried." I simply told her habang pinapanuod ang mga friends namin na nagkukulitan sa living room.
"Worried about what?" she asked again.
"Na baka maging pabigat siya sa iyo. He doesn't want to be a burden. Ayaw kong magsabi, wait for him to open up." I replied.
"I see. By the way, thank you for coming sa operation niya ha?" she said. I nodded and smiled habang nakatitig pa rin sa mga kaibigan ko.
Flasback:
"Sumama na lang kaya ako sakanya pabalik?" Gian started, inaabot niya 'yong water sa bedside table so I helped him reach it "I'm worried baka hindi niya kayanin mag-isa. pero what about my fam? I don't know. I'm torn, Colet." he added.
"Hindi ba siya pwedeng mag stay nalang dito?" I asked.
