Water and Wind aren't supposed to mix || Sanegiyuu/Giyuusane (DISCONTINUED)

Mission

Sanemi POV:

"CAW CAW! MISSION IN *******" I heard my crow call out. I groaned as I woke up. I woke up on Giyuu's chest. My face heated up as I admired his face. "Good morning Nemi..." He yawned with a smile. "Good morning love..." my crow continued to inform me about my mission. "You have a mission?" I nod. "The break just ended! *sigh* Oh well, demon slaying is a busy job I guess..." Giyuu complained. I laugh and I get up to get ready for the mission.

I got dressed a prepared pretty quickly. I had to get to the area the demon was lurking fast. I've been informed that the demon is very strong.

"Bye Baby, I love you so much" I gave him a hug. "I love you too Nemi... Don't die okay?" I chuckle. "Of course not, I won't be leaving you first." I pull away and I kiss him. That took a while. "I love you" I say before leaving. I turn back to wave to him. He smiled sweetly and waved back.

(Timeskip to few days later)

Giyuu POV

It's been a few days now. Nemi still hasn't come back. I'm getting more worried with each day that passes. I think about him as I walk to the hashira meeting.

I don't concentrate on most of the meeting. I'm too busy thinking about Nemi. "Tomioka? Are you alright?" I hear the masters voice. "Oh- Uhm... Yes I'm alright." I reply shakily. He nods before a crow caws an announcement.

"CAW! UPPERMOON 2 HAS BEEN DEFEATED BY SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA" (a different uppermoon 2) My eyes lit up at those words. I look up. Only to see Nemi's bloody body being supported by two kakushis as he was unconscious. I immediately sprinted toward them, Kocho following behind. "I'll take him thank you." I bow before taking Nemi in my arms. "M-Mr Tomioka!" One kakushi exclaims. "I-It's our job to escort him to the butterfly mansion! "And I am your superior, if I want to carry him I carry him" I say coldly before running off while holding Nemi bridal style in my arms. Kocho followed close behind.

I watched as Nemi lay helplessly on the white bed. I listened to Kocho talk about his condition. "A few broken bones, many cuts all over his body... A huge hit to the head, and a few big gashes in the arms and legs. Also, it looked like he had been choked." Kocho said solemnly."He's also in a coma." She sighed before speaking again. "I'll give you two a moment." And then she left.

I immediately started crying. I held his hand and I gripped it tightly. "You said you wouldn't leave me before I did!" I wailed.

Shinobu POV:

Poor Tomioka-san... His cries broke my heart. I want him to be happy. I'll ask master to give him a break for as long as Shinazugawa needs to recover.

Giyuu POV

I had just cried my eyes out. I sat by his side for so long. He won't wake up. "Mr Tomioka..?" I hear a young girl's voice. I look up. It's Aoi. "Miss Shinobu said to tell you that master has given you a break for as long as Mr Shinazugawa needs to recover... I've also brought food for you." She said, handing me a tray of food. "Thank you..." I take the tray and I set it down on the table. "You're doing great" I pat her on the head. (Aoi needs more appreciation 😭😭😭) She smiled brightly and then skipped out of the room.
