Little tw! This chapter contains more violence than other chapters.
~ ALICES POV ~
I run into the stall and lock it. I lean against the wall so I can stay balanced.
I have to control my breathing.
After what feels like forever, I finally have my breathing under control.
I walk out of the stall and up to the mirrors. All the foundation I had on my arms are off. And my marks and faint bruises are visible.
I silently leave the restroom before anyone else can see.
Thankfully it's dark inside the dance so no one will be able to see the marks unless they look hard enough.
I need to go home before anyone notices. I don't feel safe here and I want to leave.
I find Nolan and walk up to him. "I don't want to ruin anyone's night so I can I take your car. I want to go home."
Nolan looks at me concerned. "Is everything okay?" He asks.
"Everything is fine I'm just having bad stomach pain." I say quickly.
"Then I'll take you home." Nolan gets up but I stop him.
"No. I want you to have fun." I smile at him.
"Beside I'll be fine at home. I'll eat ice cream with Miles." I laugh.
"I'm not sure miles is home. I think he's hanging out with his friends." Nolan says.
"You can't be home alone I'm coming." Nolan tries to get up again but I stop him for the second time.
"Nolan I'll be okay. If anything happens I'll call." I give him a reassuring smile.
"Fine." He gives me the keys. "But you have to update me every 30 minutes."
I give him a hug before leaving.

Once I'm home I lock the door and lay on the couch. I don't have enough energy to shower and change.
I send Nolan and thumbs up emoji telling him I'm safe at home.
I slowly get up to take my heals off. I yawn in the process. I need some sleep.
I hear the main door open. "Miles is that you? Cause I need a buddy to eat ice cream with!" I say as I get up off the couch and walk to the main door.
I freeze when I see my dad in front of the door with a bear bottle in his hand. My heartbeats quicken.
"How did you get in?" I say slowly backing up. I need to grab my phone but it's still on the couch.
Dad just laughs. "You really think I wouldn't find a way into this place. I've owed this house since the day you were born!" He walks closer.
Once he sees me he drops his bottle on the door. It breaks. Glasses shatters everywhere.
"What the hell are you wearing!" Dad runs up to me and pushes me against the wall.
I hide my pain as I push off the wall. "I went to a school dance that's it." I say softly.
"That's it?" He laughs. "Might as well go be a stripper huh?" I close my eyes as he yells.
"Look at me!" I flinch before opening my eyes.
I stand there hoping he won't touch me again but I was wrong. He grabs my arm and throws me onto the floor with with broken glass. This time I can't hide the pain. The glass digs deep into my skin.
"Stop!" I sob.
I hear him taking off his belt. "No." I sob as I try to crawl away. Glass scraping me as I do so.
"I told you to keep your mouth shut." He hits be hard in the back with his belt.
"I'm sorry!" I yell.
But that doesn't stop him. He keeps hitting me as I try to get up.
"This is what you get for not listening to me!" He throws his belt and kicks me in the ribs instead.
I scream in pain.
My ears begin to ring once dad stops. I look up to see him suddenly scared. He's soon scrambling around the house.
"Money! Tell me where you hide money!" Dads now yelling in my face.
"I- I don't know! B-but I have money in my purse." I sob. Leaves me to grab my purse. Once my ears stop ringing I realize I hear a loud car engine outside.
Dad soon comes back with money in his hands. "I'll be back for you." He spits before running out the front door.
I sob as I try to get up and follow him.
I hold onto the walls as I make my way to the front door. I look out the window to see a truck full of men waiting for my dad as he walks up to them.
I watch as they all get inside the truck. When the door opens I see a flash of someone's gun. Another sob breaks through me.
I lean against the door as I hear the truck drive away.
I'll come be back for you.
His words play back in my head. I look down at my body and see blood everywhere. Glass is it stuck in my body and I can barley move.
I cant do this anymore. I sob again. I need help. Without grabbing my phone or my purse, I grab keys and leave the house.
I grab the walls as I limp my way over to the car. I have to stop a couple times to breathe and control my massive headache.
I finally reach the car. I get in and turn it on. Driving in this condition is bad but I need to leave.
My eyes blur from tears as I drive. I don't even think about where I'm going. I just drive. Far away from home.
Soon I find myself at Ivan house. Every car is gone. I drove over here for nothing.
Im in too much pain to drive anywhere else. Someone has to be home!
I almost fall as I leave the car. Blood now dripping down my legs and arms.
I struggling to get to the front door. My rib now throbbing and hurting way more than it did 10 minutes ago.
Another sob breaks through me once I reach the door.
"Ivan!" I try to yell but I cant.
I knock on the door as my knees slowly give out. "Ivan."
I sob as I slowly hit the ground. My knees not working anymore.
I try to knock again but it's weak.
Please someone open the door.
"Alice?"
