Healing closed wounds

Part 12 - dinner

~ ALICE'S POV ~

About 15 minutes ago we all got our food. Everything was going pretty good aside from the pain I still had on my side.

Harper gets up from the table. "Where are you going?" Grayson asks.

She looks at him, "the washroom." Before she can go I get up as well. "I'm coming."

We both walk side by side to the washroom. I walk to the mirror as Harper walks into a stall.

I check my jaw to see if the makeup is still covering the bruise. Thank goodness it is. I sigh in relief turning on the water to wash my hands.

Harper soon gets out of the stall. "That dress looks beautiful on you." Harper smiles at me through the mirror as she washes her hands. I smile back.

"Thank you." I say as Harper dries her hands off

"Your dress looks beautiful too." Harper smiles at me. "Thank you lovely. Let's get back." She smiles as we begin walking out of the washroom.

"How's school been?" She asks as we begin walking to our table.

"It's been good. Really boring though." I laugh looking ahead as we get closer to the boys.

"Sounds like school." Harper laughs as well.

As we walk closer I see a group of people standing beside Grayson who's not sitting anymore.

"What's going on?" I ask Harper who looks as confused as I do. "I have no idea." She reply's.

As we walk closer Grayson notices and turns around. "Oh great you guys are back!" He looks at us making everyone turn. I soon recognized who they are. My heart skips a beat.

"Omg you've grown so much!" Laura pulls me into a hug. Shocked I look up at her. "It's nice to see you again." I smile and she smiles back.

"Are you going to give your old man a hug?" Hudson laughs as he opens his arms. I laugh as well hugging him.

"You look just like your mom did at 17." Laura looks at me and smiles softly. I force a smile. Hearing her talk about mom makes me realize how much I still miss her.

I think Grayson noticed because he places his hand on my back.

"Mom I don't think that was a good thing to bring up." A girl behind her says. Her mom moves over and I see everyone. Zach, Amaya, sienna and Ivan. Ivan is here in-front of me. My heart beat quickens.

"Oh no don't worry about it it's okay." Grayson says nicely.

When Sienna meets my eyes she smiles and walks up to me. "You look gorgeous." She hugs me. "I've missed having you around." I laugh at that.

"I've missed you too." I reply as she pulls away. "Little Aly isn't so little anymore." Maya says behind Sienna.

"I know, Alice and Ivan grown up so much since the last time we saw you." Grayson speaks up and everyone nods their heads as they laugh.

"Yeah but Ivan didn't grow as cool as Aly." Zack shoves Ivan's head making everyone laugh.

I look at Ivan and he looks at me. Our eyes locking.
