•That Damn Smile•

It's officially pre-season, now that Jaxon has been drafted to the NFL, his schedule is a lot crazier than it was in college.

I guess I'm still adjusting to his schedule, for example today is his first ever pre-season game in the NFL, it's kind of a big deal for him, and I want nothing more than to be there front row screaming his name, showing all my support.

However I have a big test today, I've been in online courses since I started college, but I've put this test off til last minute to soak up the little time I had with Jax before he got a crazy busy schedule with the NFL.

So today I've got a two hour test, it's ridiculous, I know, but I've got to take it.
I was planning on taking the test and then driving to Seattle to see his game, however it's a three hour drive from my place to Seattle and with this test I'm scared I won't get there in time.

"Hello?" I picked up my ringing phone.
"Hello, gorgeous." Jaxon's big smile was evident through the phone.
"Jax! How's the game day prep going?" I asked him as I pressed speaker phone so I could continue gathering my things.
"Never mind me, you have a big test."
"I do."
"You sound nervous." That's an understatement.
"Well I am. I just wanna be there with you." I sighed heading out the door.
"You're gonna do amazing sweetheart, don't worry about me." Gosh, he was the sweetest.
"Mhm."
"Don't be upset! Send me a picture of that pretty smile and that hundred percent, because you will pass that test."
"How are you so sure?"
"Because you always doubt yourself and do amazing in the end."
"I love you." I smiled to myself.
"I love you more."
"That's impossible Jax."
"No it's not, I love you to the moon and back, now go ace that test."
"Aye aye captain." I giggled before ending the call, Jax always has a way with comforting me when I'm stressed or nervous.

3 hours later

I'd finished my test a half hour ago, it was so tiring, staring at a computer screen for that long, but Jax was right, I got an A! Don't worry, I sent him a picture of me smiling next to my hundred percent.

I'm currently throwing clothes and essentials in my bag, I've got about five hours til the game, and it's a three hour drive, as long as traffics not bad.

I'd just made it, after an exhausting three hour drive, I'd finally a arrived at my destination, I changed in my car just a pair of leggings and a jersey with Jaxon's name and number on it, very simple.

I made my way into the stadium, finding my front row seat, it's a lot different being at an NFL game than it is being at a college football game, I was surprised to see so many people here for a pre-season game.

As the game began the excitement of being here for Jax's first game started to set in.
There'd been a huge smile on my face the whole game, and I'm pretty sure I was screaming louder than anyone else in here, but I've gotta let my man know, I'm his biggest supporter.

"I could hear you over everyone." Jaxon smiled as he walked up to the wall.
"I was hoping you would." I laughed as I reached my hand out to him.
"Saw that big smile too." Jaxon's always adored my smile and he never fails to make sure I know.
"Did you?" I smiled widely.
Jaxon nodded his head holding his arms out motioning for me to climb over the wall.
"Isn't this illegal? Am I gonna go to jail?"
"No." Jaxon laughed as he caught me and held me in a big hug.
"I've missed you so, so much." He began to place kisses all over my face pulling a giggle from my lips.
"I've missed you, it's been a long week without you." I sighed pressing my forehead against his.
"The longest." He agreed.

It's moments like these, when there's hundreds of people swarming around us but it feels like it's just us two.

"I love you, so much." Jaxon whispered as we stared into each others eyes.
"I love you Jax, always have and always will." I smiled widely against his lips.
Jaxon pressed a kiss to my lips. "That damn smile."
