•Meet Me On The Sideline•

Justin and I met a few years ago;

"Justin! Can you sign my jersey?" My little brother asked with a big smile.
The player signed his jersey and allowed me to take a picture of the two of them together.
"Thank you, it means a lot to him." I smiled.
Justin stared, a little smile on his face.
"Don't mention it," he ruffled my brothers hair and walked off.
"Justin Jefferson touched my head," my brother pretended to faint.
I laughed, hard and loud as I helped him off the ground.

My brother clung to the jersey the entire game, never once loosening his grip.
He screamed Justin's name, the loudest in the stadium.
Justin had noticed this, even though he noticed my brother earlier, he also noticed how big of a fan he really was.

"Hey little man," Justin walked up to B/n after the game.
B/n swallowed and stared at Justin in awe.
"I could hear you over everyone," he laughed.
My brother placed his hands over his eyes shyly.
Justin chuckled, "it means a lot."
My brother removed his hands, tears welling up in his eyes.
Justin's been his favorite player since LSU, my brother looks up to him a lot.

After that day, it became a tradition, every year on November 12th, my brother and I got sideline passes to the Vikings game.
Even if it wasn't a home game, we made sure we got sideline passes.
Every year my brother wore his signed jersey, every year for the past four years Justin and him take a picture together before and after the game.

Justin and I have been dating for two of those years.
He asked me out shortly after our second encounter of meeting, he got my number and called me the next day, we went out for lunch and the rest is history.

"Y/N WHERE IS MY SIGNED JEFFERSON JERSEY?" My now nine year old brother screamed as he ran down the stairs towards me.
"It should be in your closet," I frowned.
"It's not..."
"What's this yelling about?" Our mom asked as she came down the stairs behind B/n.
"My jersey, I can't find it," B/n threw his hands up.
"Oh," our mom chuckled.
"I donated that!"
B/n mouth dropped, tears immediately welling up in his eyes, I frowned at my mom.
That was rude of her, she knew how much it meant to him, even if it was too small.
"Mom," his voice cracked.
"It's too small S/n!" She sighed, shaking her head.
B/n ran up the stairs, I pushed past my mom and followed him.

"Justin," I smiled at the man as I walked towards him, B/n in suit behind me.
"Hi baby." He lifted me up into a hug.
"Hey little man," he ruffled B/n's hair.
B/n said nothing, he kept his eyes pointed towards the ground, he was heart broken.
"What's wrong with my best man?" Justin frowned and kneeled down towards him.
"My mom donated my jersey," he broke.
Justin pulled him into a hug and let him cry.
I joined in the hug, the three of us stood on the sideline hugging one another.

"You're in luck," Justin smiled as we finally pulled away.
"What?"
Justin smiled, he grabbed a shirt from off the ground and held it up.
A jersey signed by the entire Vikings team, B/n's size at that.
"For me?" My brothers face lit up.
"For you," Justin laughed.
B/n thanked Justin, and hugged him before running off and playing with some of the other kids on the field.

"Thank you," I smiled at Justin.
"Don't mention it," he shrugged.
"Happy meet-iversary." I giggled as I held onto his shirt.
Justin laughed, and pulled me into a tight hug, he kissed the side of my head.
"I love you," he whispered for the first time.
I sucked in a breath, "I love you too."
