Makoto woke up to someone knocking at his door and he knew who it was, it was Chihiro who needed help with Alter Ego, so Makoto helped him the same way he did last time, and went to the dining hall .

He started to wait for everyone but he was also waiting for a specific someone, and as he was watching the door, Byakuya barged in. "Where is Makoto Naegi?" Byakuya asked, sounding really annoyed.

Makoto lifted his hand up. Byakuya walked up to him. "You're coming with me." Byakuya ordered the same as last time and Makoto complied, following Byakuya to the library. He also took his instant noodles with him, because he was still hungry.

As soon as they entered the library, Makoto sat in the chair adjacent from where Byakuya usually sat. "So you want to continue our debate from yesterday but in a more civil manner?" Makoto said, making it sound like a guess but he knew he was right

"That is correct." Byakuya said as he sat in his chair. "It is quite clear that we won't be able to get out of here, and with the added motive every couple of days and a killing is inevitable, all I wish to do is start it by using the serial killer I have at my disposal." Byakuya explained, with a grin of superiority on his face the entire time.

"And I'm fine with killing you since you're pretty!" Genocide Jill shouted from the wall she was hiding behind. Makoto gave her a wave and she gave him one back with her weirdly adorable smile.

"But your entire logic is flawed. You say that a killings likely to happen but instead of trying to prevent it, you're trying to start it. If you can't protect 15 people, how are you supposed to protect the world in the future?" Makoto was unsure if he was convincing Byakuya, but he was just speaking what he thought

"Sometimes, the world meeds casualties." Byakuya argued. "But definitely not right now!" Makoto said, getting a little angry. "If there's no reason to kill then don't! It's as simple as that!"

Byakuya stayed quiet for a second, probably thinking of something to say. "Not to mention, Monokuma said he'll open a floor today if we don't kill so are you really going to make lose out on that by killing because you had to?" Makoto said the last part sarcastically.

Byakuya seemed to be trying very hard to come up with a counter argument but Makoto knew he won the debate. "Speaking of the fourth floor, I'm going to ask Monokuma if he can open it for us since you seem to have stopped debating." Makoto said, a little smug that he won a debate against Byakuya

"But Makoto, let me ask you this before you go." A grin appeared back on Byakuya's face and he seemed to have come up with a counter argument. "Are you really okay with spending your entire life here just so that some people you barely know can survive?" Byakuya said, but he didn't know that Makoto knew everyone very well because he'd spent at least 3 months, if he counted all the loops

"And you plan to kill everyone here so you can selfishly get out of here?" Makoto asked, kind of annoyed. "Well I'm more valuable than any of you here." Byakuya said, getting up from his chair

"You're proving my point! How are you ever going to be a leader if you're always being selfish?!" Makoto started yelling but quickly stopped when he felt something sharp against his neck

"You better stop what you're doing because you're making master mad, and when he's mad, I'm mad." Genocide Jill said in a threatening tone. "Okay, I understand." Makoto said, a little scared.

Byakuya sat back down in his chair. "Makoto. I don't think you know, but as an heir to the Togami corporation, I will soon be controlling the world for the better. Do you really think the death of 14 people is really all that important if it means I will go to save millions down the line?" Byakuya said in a calm manner
