Chapter-10

The next day, Anne stepped out of her university. She was relieved that Jungkook didn't cross paths with her. She noticed him but he ignored her leaving her unsure if she felt happy or not about that. Suddenly, she flinched as she was harshly pulled. She thought it was Jungkook only to realize it was his ex, Ellie. "Are you crazy? Let go of my arm," Anne removed Ellie's hand firmly raising an eyebrow in surprise. She was taken aback by Ellie's unusual behavior as Ellie had never acted this way before leaving Anne confused by the sudden rudeness. "Anne, I always thought you were kind, but you're being selfish." Anne frowned but stumbled back as Ellie pushed her forcefully.

"What have you done? Jungkook isn't talking to me. I asked for your help, but you, heartless woman, seem to be seeking revenge." Anne looked at Ellie with wide eyes as tears welled up in Ellie's eyes. She was looking pathetic and Anne understood she didn't do anything intentionally but was just stressed as that situation was actually tough for her. "First of all, calm down, i did talk to him, i don't know what happened to him, I'm not in his contact anymore", She tried to explain but ellie was gone mad who yelled while crying badly, "No!!!, he is ignoring me just because of you".

"Can you please calm down, what are you trying to prove by blaming me, we are not with each others anymore, don't bring me into this when you two are the one who gotten yourself into it, Ellie you don't have any right to blame me", Those words stabbed Ellie more badly because it was truth. She couldn't blame anyone except herself and jungkook but she wasn't able to think proper

Anne let out a sigh as she observed Ellie's tears. She was disappointed in Jungkook for not being there when she needed him the most. As Anne approached Ellie trying to offer comfort but Ellie abruptly pushed her away. Anne stumbled back and found herself being pushed against a strong chest, where she looked up to see Yoongi holding her protectively. She was confused by his unexpected presence because he told her, he wouldn't attend university anymore. She wanted to ask why he wasn't attending university anymore but didn't have the chance in the morning rush.

As she slowly moved away but startled to see Yoongi pointing a gun at Ellie who stood frozen in place. In a calm yet intense tone, he questioned Ellie. "How dare you touch her", Anne looked at him with wide eyes and grabbed Yoongi's arm, "Are you out of your mind, put it down, she is pregnant'', Yoongi was taken aback by the revelation of Ellie's pregnancy he knew ellie as jungkook's ex but didn't know she was pregnant. "Interesting". He smirked internally before caressing his finger on trigger and Ellie gasped watching his movement. Anne held his wrist in panic to stop him because that was something unexpected from him

"St-", She cut off in the middle as Jungkook hid Ellie behind his back. She didn't realise when he came. "Dare to shoot her". Jungkook said with firm expressions shooting daggers at yoongi with his eyes but Yoongi remained calmed and replied still pointing gun at him. "Then stay away, i will dare it right now", jungkook glared at yoongi who was calmly looking at him. Ellie gripped Jungkook's arm tightly and he was trying his best to make her feel protective. Whether he loved her or not, there was no chance he could let her suffer in front yoongi moreover she was pregnant with his baby. "Yoongi, I said, Put it down, have you gone mad?". Anne tried to pull yoongi's arm down but he just wanted to shoot Ellie on the spot.

Both men were blazing at each other but Yoongi's eyes changed in second when her defeated tone pierced his ears. "you are also not listening to me". He blinked slowly and lowered his arm slowly relieving Ellie and Anne. She held onto his arm trying to pull him away but he remained rooted in place. Yoongi looked at Jungkook intensely and warned him. "Don't even dare to look at her and you woman!, it would be safe for you to stay away from her", his voice laced with a palpable threat while Jungkook kept looking at him in silence unfazed by his threat. Anne pulled Yoongi urging him to move but glanced back at Jungkook while walking whose eyes stayed fixed on them going away.
