Chapter-8

Anne's eyes widened as she gazed at Yoongi in disbelief, while Jungkook shoot fiery glare at anne motioning towards her, "So this is how you helped him, What's going on between you two?" Jungkook was consumed by his emotions, he failed to see the damage he was causing. "Why are you so surprised? Stop acting anne," Jungkook stepped towards her with his clenched jaw, but halted as Yoongi stood infront anne. "It's not her fault,this love is one-sided", Anne's confusion deepened as she lowered her gaze. The situation was damn complicated for her.

She loved Jungkook, yet the undeniable truth remained, he had betrayed her trust, moreover it was impossible to forget he had s*x with someone while he was in a relationship with her. Rebuilding that trust seemed insurmountable. And his unfounded accusations further distanced her heart from him even more, she wanted to stay away from him at any cost. He had crossed each boundary, the prospect of a future with him grew increasingly bleak.

Anne's breath quivered as she prepared to speak, but Jungkook was consumed by animosity, he pointed a finger at her with his eyes ablaze with pure malice. "It's over between us now. Don't ever show me your face" he spat while his gaze piercing hers as she stood in stunned silence. The pain of witnessing such cruelty from someone she loved cut deep, though they had quarreled before but this level of hostility and hatred was unbearable. Jungkook's eyes shifted to Yoongi slowly who maintained a neutral expression, Jungkook's eyes returned to anne, where he observed tears streaming down her face. Yet, she remained silent, her patience worn thin. He failed to comprehend her yet she had forgiven him countless times in the past but this time, it was too much to bear.

Jungkook blinked his eyes and turned around  as he walked away leaving Anne and yoongi alone. She couldn't bring herself to meet Jungkook's gaze, and he, too, didn't look back at her. But Yoongi's eyes followed Jungkook's retreating figure with a mix of relief and something else stirring within him. As Jungkook disappeared from view, Yoongi's heart clenched at the sound of Anne's soft sobs, each one was like a dagger piercing his very soul. He turned to face her, but she fled, wiping away her tears as she ran. Yoongi stood there with his heart pounding in his chest, a feeling of fear creeped over him, unfamiliar and unsettling. Confusion clouded his thoughts as he realized that something was deeply troubling him. Slowly, he raised a trembling hand to his chest, feeling the erratic beat of his heart beneath his palm.........how weird.

"Now i believe, love can actually change person……..and it made me weak"

"But it's not her fault if he loves her", Jimin said looking at Jungkook who seemed too stressed.  Jungkook's frustration boiled over as he lashed out, kicking the table and running his hands through his hair in agitation, his breaths were heavy and labored. "She gave him attention that's why he fell for her". He seethed in intense anger and Taehyung intervened, trying to soothe Jungkook's escalating emotions. . "But Jungkook, she just helped him, it's not her fault at all but you should have listened to her". Taehyung said gently and Jungkook's gaze sharpened as he directed a slow, pointed question at Taehyung, "So, this is all my fault?" Taehyung sighed, acknowledging the truth with a hesitant nod, which only fueled Jungkook's mounting anger. He was a spoiled son of his parents and accepting mistakes was something tough for him. He stormed out of the deserted classroom in a cloud of frustration, leaving his friends disappointed. Taehyung sighed in defeat and Jimin muttered under his breath.

"That new guy ruined their relationship"

After a few weeks, Anne and jungkook didn't interact with each other in any way. She was sure now it was actually over between them. Never thought they would separate. Anne was on leave. Yoongi daily waited for her in university but neither did she pick up his calls. He was already anxious if she would ever talk to him. He was a powerful man who could have her by force but in her case. It was different. He wanted to do it according to heart, not mind
