Annie looked at Mr. Jeon, who leaned back against the headrest of the bed as he said in his gentle raspy voice looking at Annie. "I'm sorry you've had to come all along here, I hope you don't face any discomfort here" Annie shook her head with a warm smile spreading across her face as she replied gently. "It's completely fine, it's my responsibility to take care of my patients"

Old man smiled and she felt Jungkook's presence beside her as the rustle of the medicine packet in his hands drew her attention. After she met Mr Jeon, It didn't seem like Jungkook had planned everything with an ulterior motive. "Does it mean it's really his father's request?" she pondered as she checked the packet of medicines slowly and blinked coming back from her thoughts before she handed some pills to Mr. Jeon.

"For now, take these pills. I'll visit again to give you the second medicine when it's time" she instructed and Mr. Jeon nodded with a polite smile. She stood up to leave and turned around but was startled to find Jungkook standing just inches away and she instinctively stepped back before she apologized. "I'm sorry" Jungkook seemed unfazed as his focus solely was on his father. He walked past her before he sat close to his father and a tender smile on his face appeared as he caressed Mr. Jeon's hand.

Annie watched the scene silently as she stepped back "He loves his family so much, it makes sense if it's about his dad" A sigh escaped her lips before she spoke slowly, ensuring both men could hear her. "If you need any kind of help, please call me" Mr. Jeon nodded while his polite smile reflected gratitude as he replied, "You can rest, my child"

After a while, Annie sat on her bed as she glanced around. With a sigh, she leaned down, burying her face in her palms. "I'm bored" she murmured to herself but it was more than just boredom, it was an unsettling feeling that gnawed at her, "How am I going to face Ellie?....... it's really suffocating" She paused before she raised her head and her mind drifted back to Yoongi. "Facing them will only bring his memories" her heart ached at the thought of his absence while she stared at the shining floor, which reflected her sorrow like a mirror. "He used to promise me to help me break me free from my fear but look at me now" she chuckled sadly before she mumbled. "it's even more strong and he's the reason"

 

Past :

She laughed softly as Yoongi brushed his hair on her face, shaking his head playfully while she squeezed her eyes shut. "You're ticking me" he paused before pushing his hair back, revealing his handsome features more clearly. When he looked down at her, she slowly opened her eyes and a radiant smile spread across her face as her cheeks flushed a soft pink.

"Your hair is so soft" she said and he chuckled before his fingers weaved through her silky strands and the way his hand glided through her hair felt like a tender caress. "But I love your hair more". When he pulled his hand back, she couldn't resist the urge to ruffle his hair softly and he silently let her and looked down at her beneath him with a soft smile. "You're such a rich person, yet you didn't invite anyone to your birthday. Why?"

Yoongi's smile softened as he ran his fingers along her hair and spoke. "I don't like to engage with more people and I like the party given by you more" A sigh escaped her lips before she doodled circles on his bare chest. "What party? It was just a simple party. I wanted to do something big for you" He chuckled softly, leaning closer and the way he moved made her heart flutter with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Even after their passionate moments together, his closeness always left her feeling a little breathless.

"Every effort you make is big" he confessed and her cheeks flushed a deep crimson as she lost herself in his gaze. Yoongi snickered softly at her flustered state watching her blink rapidly before she quickly averted her eyes pushing him away "I-I... I have something for you"
