Today was the first day of 9th grade. I switched schools this year because we moved countries. I am so nervous because I'm not gonna know anybody.

Yesterday my mom took me around the town and showed me how to get to school and back so I shouldn't have a problem finding my way there.

I was wearing a casual outfit with my hair straightened ( outfit at top). I shut the door and held onto my backpack and started walking.

In front of me I saw a boy and a girl walking. The girl had braids and the boy had a denim jacket on. I honestly forgot where school was so I rushed over to them.

" um hi I hope I'm not interrupting anything but I just moved here and I forgot where the school was" I tell them. " hi! You can just follow us to school and we can show you around" the girl says smiling.

" my name is Gwen and that's my brother Finney by the way" she says smiling at me. " I'm y/n" I say smiling at them.

" robin!" Finney yells out. I see a boy with a bandana and long hair start walking towards us. " he's cute" I whisper to Gwen and start laughing.

Her jaw drops. " you think Robin Arellano is cute? Gross. Him and my brother are best friends" she says. I take a look at the boy again and feel my face starting to get red.

" who's she?" Robin asks the two then looking at me. " her name is y/n. She's new here" finney says and Gwen nods. " what's up y/n. Ur pretty" he says and looks at me.

" oh- thank you" I say and smile. The bell rings and I look at finney. " here I'll take you to class, you have math first right?" He asks and I nod. " wait I can take her. I also have math first period" robin says and comes beside me.

" thank you" I say as we start walking to class. " no problem" he says and smiles. He introduces me to some people, he tells me who to not talk to aka the druggies.

Once we get into class I sit down and the teacher starts introducing me as the new student. I see Robin drop a piece of paper on my desk as he goes to ask the teacher a question.

I pick it up and unfold it. " I know we just met but There's no way I'm letting this opportunity pass, your a really pretty girl, one of the prettiest at the school. Would you consider going on a date with me?"

I look up at see robin looking at me. I smile and then give him the thumbs up.
