As she awoke from a deep slumber, a lengthy exhale escaped her lips, filling the room with the sound of her breath. Her eyes, wide with awareness, betrayed the fact that she had been engulfed in a profound sleep, one that had overtaken her without preamble. Gradually, she raised her chest, surveying her surroundings with a sense of curiosity.

The room was shrouded in darkness, illuminated only by the intermittent flashes of lightning that danced outside the window. The rain continued to pour, the rumble of thunder echoing through the sky, creating a symphony of nature's power.

Gradually, her mind began to awaken, recognizing the familiar surroundings of her room. With each passing moment, her heartbeat quickened, a sense of confusion enveloping her as she continued to scan the space around her.

"No! No... Haein?" she murmured, the realization dawning upon her that she was back in her own home. Frantically, she attempted to free herself from the duvet that covered her, but before she could fully untangle herself, the door swung open abruptly, startling her.

"Jisoo... please, don't get out of bed! You need to rest!" Jennie's voice was filled with pure concern as she saw Jisoo fully awake. Jisoo's mouth fell slightly agape at the sight of Jennie.

"What... What are you doing here?" Jisoo asked, disbelief evident in her voice. Jennie swiftly moved towards Jisoo's bed, taking a seat on the edge with a gentle and reassuring presence.

"I came because I wanted to apologize... but when I arrived, the house was eerily quiet! You even forgot to lock the back door!" Jennie spoke softly, attempting to soothe Jisoo's agitation. However, Jisoo remained in denial, refusing to acknowledge what her eyes were showing her.

"Apologize? I believe it takes more than a simple apology to re-enter my life!" Jisoo retorted, her words catching Jennie off guard. Jennie's breath hitched, her eyes narrowing in response to Jisoo's unexpected response.

"What? Jisoo?" Jennie stammered in disbelief, her eyes wide with terror. She never expected Jisoo to be so direct and cutting towards her. Jisoo swiftly rose from the bed, her head still reeling as she reached out for the nearest object within her grasp.

"Jisoo... please, get back into bed! I don't want you to faint again!" Jennie implored, her eyes filled with concern as she approached Jisoo.

"Stop! Don't come any closer! Jennie, this time I'm truly done with you! I... I still feel the hurt from those harsh words! I don't want to see you! Leave my house... I will be the one to decide when I am ready to accept your apologies... and it won't be now! Don't expect me to forget so easily all of those hurtful words!" Jisoo's voice crackled with emotion, her eyes blazing as she leaned against the wall for support. Jennie gasped, taken aback by her friend's fierce reaction.

"Please! I am genuinely sorry for everything I said to you that day! I should have kept my emotions in check and not lashed out at you like that! I am truly sorry!" Jennie's voice wavered as tears welled up in her eyes. Jisoo shook her head slowly, her expression conveying a sense of disappointment that spoke volumes to Jennie.

"Fine! I get it! You choose him over me!" Jennie's voice held a hint of irritation as she made her assumption. Jisoo's eyes widened at the mention of him, caught off guard by Jennie's words.

"Did you... did you... ask him to leave? Where is he?" Jisoo inquired, a sense of realization dawning on her as she pieced together what might have occurred while she was unconscious in bed. Jennie scoffed at Jisoo, running a hand through her hair.

"I didn't say a word to him... in fact, I let him stay as long as he pleased, but... but he chose to leave. He only wanted to walk away from you and return to his own home. It appeared as though he was completely over you... and perhaps a bit irritated, if you ask me!" Jennie's words were accompanied by a smile, causing Jisoo's face to scrunch up in utter disbelief.
