JongSuk deftly manipulated the left thumbstick of his PS4 controller, while his other hand tapped the cross button repeatedly.

"JUMPPP! JUMPP!" he cried out in desperation as he watched his character being pursued by the menacing gremlins. His eyes were wide with focus on the large screen in front of him. JongSuk found himself home alone, as his mother had left for a mysterious meeting without divulging any details. She had only mentioned that it was crucial and that she would be gone for at least an hour, leaving him to fend for himself.

JongSuk had grown accustomed to being alone, as his hardworking mother often had important tasks to attend to. Just as he was about to press the circular button on his controller, the doorbell rang, interrupting his game. Frowning, he could hear the persistent ringing echoing through the house.

"What on earth? Who the heck is incessantly ringing the doorbell?" JongSuk muttered under his breath, pausing the game abruptly. Rising from the couch, he strode purposefully towards the door.

"I'M COMING!!" he called out, not overly concerned about who it might be, eager to return to his game. However, when he swung open the door, his world turned upside down. This was the moment he had yearned for, the moment his heart had been silently longing for all these years. Stunned, his eyes widened, the whites showing as he stood frozen in amazement. Surprise was not an emotion he typically embraced, but the overwhelming joy that washed over him was unmistakable.

"Dad? Da...dad?" he stammered in awe at the sight before him. A sudden sob caught in his throat as he felt his father's hands on his face, gently cupping his cheeks as he gazed at his almost sixteen-year-old son.

"My son! My one and only son!" Siwon exclaimed, a tear sliding down his cheek. Tears welled in JongSuk's eyes, and without hesitation, he threw himself into his father's embrace. Clutching him tightly, he wept uncontrollably against his father's chest.

"I MISSED YOU! Ah...I missed you so much!" he whimpered, his father holding him close, his head nestled against his chest. Siwon pressed a kiss to his son's hair, tears mingling with JongSuk's as they both wept from the overwhelming sense of reunion. Four years had slipped by as if they were mere moments.

"JongSuk....please tell me you are well! Please tell me that you and your mother are well!" Siwon implored, gripping JongSuk's head and peering into his tear-filled eyes. JongSuk's contorted face broke into a smile.

"We are! Everything is fine, dad!" he affirmed, his voice heavy with emotion. Siwon breathed a sigh of pure relief and enveloped him once again in a tight embrace.

"What a relief! I'm so glad you guys are fine," he murmured with immense relief, tightening his embrace. The most perilous aspect of danger was becoming too complacent with it. He had made the mistake of growing too comfortable in the past, and now he was facing the consequences of that comfort. Siwon was so absorbed in comforting his son that he had momentarily forgotten about the perils that lurked around them. Suddenly, the loud roar of a motorcycle jolted him, causing panic to ripple through him, instilling a sense of anxiety in his son, JongSuk.
