A single phone call was all it took to alter the course of their day. Completely caught off guard by the unexpected call, they soon found themselves boarding a plane headed back home. Twelve hours later, they touched down in South Korea. The day was not just beautiful, it was utterly perfect. The sun shone brightly, the traffic flowed smoothly, and Youngro bustled with her usual liveliness. What made it even more special was her infectious joy, as her mood spread throughout the van, leaving everyone smiling and thoroughly enjoying the journey back.
As days passed, each person's path diverged. Jinu and Mary were granted a rare day off, while Haein hoped for Jisoo to stay with him. However, it made more sense for her and Youngro to lodge at Baek Hyeon's place for the time being. Haein had pressing family matters to attend to now that he was back, so it was best for everyone involved.
His sudden disappearance had left his mother sulking, feeling abandoned once more. Despite this, Taehoon's deep involvement and understanding of his son's actions prompted Mihee to take a step back and give Haein the freedom to make his own choices. Taehoon's acceptance of the situation, for reasons unknown, reassured Mihee that everything would be fine.
But now, the narrative had shifted completely as he found himself back in his familiar surroundings. Back to his everyday life. Determined and resolute, he was prepared to confront his mother and disclose that he had a child with his beloved, and that he was contemplating marriage with her regardless of any obstacles. Nothing and no one would hinder his resolve.
"I don't want to leave either, but I need to take care of things back home," Haein replied, his hand caressing Jisoo's cheek tenderly. He leaned in closer, his voice soft as he continued, "But I promise, I'll be back soon. And when I return, we'll figure everything out together." Jisoo's eyes glistened with understanding as she nodded, a small smile playing on her lips.
"There are urgent matters I must attend to," Haein whispered, his finger gently tracing her cheek. "I'm doing this for us, so we can have a peaceful life together. Your comfort and safety in my home mean everything to me." Jisoo closed her eyes, savoring the tender moment they shared as she silently acknowledged his words.
"Then kiss me! Kiss me goodbye," Jisoo pleaded, her voice a mix of longing and urgency. Haein smiled warmly in response. As she tugged him closer to the bed, their bodies intertwined, her arms encircling his shoulders as their foreheads touched. In a moment charged with emotion, their lips met in a passionate and electric connection, enveloping them in a world of their own.
