Mobians(Illumination's Minions but it's Sonic)

Thirteen: Unwelcomed with Open Arms

Sonic was the first to spin dash up the walls, Shadow following behind. Silver was distracted by a pigeon who happened to have a nest built. He got a quick look at the bird before levitating himself up the rest of the way to the roof. As soon as he landed on the roof, Sonic did a pose and wiped the dust from his overalls as well as clean his goggles. "Shads! Silver! Come on I can hear the coronation now!" Sonic exclaimed as he headed to one of the openings.

Shadow and Silver both came up, Silver also having the wreath with him as well as he placed it next to him. "Seems like Sonic was right about his plan working," Shadow said with a soft smile as he watched Sonic run to the ledge. He looked down and watched as the coronation started off with a few words from the priest, and then he looked down to see why the door was "locked". In reality, it was being guarded by two villains. One of them was the Darkest Night.

That's why we couldn't open the door, Sonic realized as he saw the villains. The other one creeped him out though just by looking at them. Looking back at the priest, he saw the crown on its pillow, and Zavok and Zeena too, Zeena getting excited about what was to come. Sonic smiled at her, even though he knew that she was still bent after what had happened at the governor's palace. "Bingo. Let's crash the party shall we?" Sonic smirked as he whipped his body around to see Shadow and Silver. "Time for the second half of the plan."

Silver and Shadow both nodded, Shadow having his arms crossed in the process. The two ranish to meet up with Sonic, but Shadow stopped when he saw a bee fly up to them. Silver did the same and barely freaked out when the bee landed on his forehead. "Silver stay still let me-" Shadow cut himself off as he slapped Silver's forehead, trying to get the bee off of him. It flew away, but Silver looked at Shadow and growled, "What the heck?! That hurt you know!"

"I was trying to be helpful. You're welcome," Shadow snarled. Sonic watched the two of them argue as he sighed. He wasn't in the mood for this. "Come on you two we have to go!" Sonic exclaimed to the two. They didn't listen as the bee flew to Shadow's forehead this time, causing him to flinch as Silver slapped the black hedgehog's forehead. The bee flew away again, but Shadow just stared at Silver in a what the heck way.

Before Silver could reply, the two hedgehogs screamed at the sight of the bee and sped away. "What are you two doing?! This isn't apart of the plan!" Sonic screamed as Shadow and Silver both jumped onto the metal chandelier in front of Sonic. The two didn't listen to him, and the blue hedgehog was already having a nervous breakdown when he watched Shadow and Silver run away from the bee in a direction where the chandelier looked to be unscrewing itself.

Sonic realized that it was right above Zeena. This freaked him out even more. "Shadow! Silver! Run the other way!" Sonic exclaimed to the two in worriment. They didn't listen to him, but the bee flew back around and this made Shadow and Silver run in the opposite way, the chandelier now being back to how it was. Sonic sighed happily, but that faded then the hedgehogs started running in the opposite way again, and again, and again.

"Ugh. Looks like I have to do everything myself," Sonic said under his breath and after a facepalm. He realized the dangerous feat he was about to do. He didn't have rocket shoes like Shadow or telekinetic powers like Silver, so he'd have to be careful. He grabbed onto the rope that connected itself to the chandelier, looking down to hear the priest continue the coronation and Zeena's happy faces of excitement as he made his way to Shadow and Silver. He wasn't spotted....for now.

Shadow and Silver finally both ran in the direction they were the first time the bee chased them, and the chandelier was fixing to unscrew itself fully and fall right on top of Zeena and ruin the whole coronation. Sonic knew that they would be dead for sure, but he had to act fast. When Sonic was already near the two hoggers, he watched as the bee flew up to his face. Sonic still held onto the rope as he shooed the bee away. Watching it fly away, Sonic had weird thoughts on why his fellow hedgehogs would be scared of a little bee.

"Shads! Silver! Grab my hand!" Sonic exclaimed as he held out as far as he could to the two hedgehogs. Shadow grabbed on immediately, but Silver's foot was stuck in one of the graters of the chandelier. "Guys! I'm stuck!" Silver exclaimed in terror. It was even about to fall too as Sonic and Shadow combined their strength to try and get Silver free from the grate. Sonic's ears twitched as he heard the priest say, "I now present to you, Governor Zeena of Spagonia!"

Just as Zeena was about to get crowned, she looked up when she heard Silver's screams. There they were: Sonic, Shadow, and Silver, crashing her big moment. "Sonic," she snarled. Just as Sonic and Shadow got Silver's foot out of the grate, the chandelier came crashing down to the ground, leaving the three hedgehogs hanging on the rope that Sonic was clinging onto. "NO!" Sonic shouted in terror as Zeena took out her lava guns to blast the chandelier into goo.

Zavok had to shield his eyes from this, and so did the priest and some of the other villains. Sonic was happy that Zeena didn't get crushed, but now he realized that the situation became much, much worse. When the brightness from the lava faded, Zavok was relieved that she was alright and not in harms way. "Zeena! You're ok!" he exclaimed as he quickly hugged her. The hug didn't last long though. She was getting crazed by the moment.

Shadow had chaos controlled the three of them off of the rope Sonic had grabbed onto as they slowly tried to make their escape from the chapel without any problems. "We have to get out of here. Now!" Shadow exclaimed as the three tried to escape. They couldn't get out for long though. Zeena's dress became a mech once again as she took to the skies, a crazed and enraged look on her face as she stared at the hedgehogs. Zavok was happy she was ok, but seeing her crazed was something he didn't want to experience.

"They tried to KILL ME!" Zeena exclaimed in rage as she pointed at the three hedgehogs who barely made their escape. The three of them got into battle positions. "We didn't try to kill you! You have it all wrong! I don't know what's up with you, but we'll fight you!" Sonic yelled. He wasn't ready for what came afterwards. "Villains! This is no longer a coronation. It's now an AMBUSH!" Zeena yelled. She then pointed at the hedgehogs and yelled at full force, "SEIZE THEM!"

At that moment, the hedgehogs knew that they weren't going to fight. Shadow couldn't chaos control them out because he was startled at what just happened. The three hedgehogs made the run for it as most of the villains began to chase them, many people booing at them. The Nelsons watched in terror as their friends began to get chased. "Run you guys! Run!" Mr. Nelson shouted. With nowhere to run, the hedgehogs were now being ambushed by a villain army. At this point....it turned out that Zeena wasn't their perfect master after all.
