Mobians(Illumination's Minions but it's Sonic)

Eighteen: An End to a Beginning

A limo pulled in front of a red carpet, one of the butlers opening the door to the backseat. Sonic, Shadow, and Silver all stepped out of the limo, Sonic now cleaned up and in a new set of clothes. He could feel his new tail wagging happily behind him as he sighed, straightening out his overalls. Shadow and Silver stood next to him as they looked at the grand stage in front of them. A big ceremony was being held in their honor for the town of Spagonia while Sonic was resting up, and they couldn't of been happier.

"Shadow? Silver? You two ready?" Sonic asked as he gestured to the two of them. Shadow nodded and smiled and Silver smiled back as Sonic cleaned a spot on Silver's cheek with him thumb one final time. "Let's go," the blue hedgehog added as they walked the red carpet. The civilains cheered for the three hedgehogs as they walked, Sonic waving to most of the people and Shadow and Silver doing the same. Even the rest of the Mobians arrived now wearing the same overalls the hoggers were wearing.

They climbed the steps up to the stage, the governor standing tall and firm in his crown, two men standing with chests in their hands. He nodded at the hedgehogs, the three of them nodding back. "We're gathered here today to celebrate the Mobians!" he cheered, holding his hands up. Everyone cheered again in advance as he turned to the three hedgehogs. "The town of Spagonia gives you our honor and praise for your great gratitude you've done for the town," he said to the three of them. "First off, Silver the Hedgehog."

Silver walked up to the governor and said, "Yes! That's me!" while clutching his bear. Sonic gave it to him back at the university, and yet he and Shadow were shocked to see that he had salvaged Zavok's journal before the collapse of Zeena's castle. The governor bent down to Silver and said, "You were a wise and noble governor, even if it was only for eight hours." That made the grey hedgehog gasp in surprise. "Really? You think?" he asked, making the governor chuckle.

One of the men with a chest handed it to the governor as he said, "For this, I shall bestow this tiny crown for your teddy." He took the mini crown from the chest and placed it on Silver's bear, making him smile. "Woah. He looks so good! Thank you!" Silver exclaimed, hugging the governor happily. Sonic and Shadow were trying not to cry as Sonic tried to keep the excitement in his tail down. The governor smiled and hugged Silver back in advance. Afterwards, the governor got up and said, "Shadow the Hedgehog."

When Shadow heard his name, he walked up to the governor and said, "You called sir?" The governor smiled, and Sonic was already excited to see Shadow's gift. "My dear boy Shadow, I have the most wonderful gift for you," he said, making the black hedgehog excited as the governor took the second chest from the second man. There wasn't a third chest for Sonic, meaning he was going to be the special one. Shadow was getting excited, but then it died down when the governor said, "I present to you this marvelous, wonderful...snow globe!", and opened the chest to reveal a snow globe of the clocktower.

"Is that it? Seriously?" Shadow sighed as he crossed his arms and tapped his foot. Sonic was in the back, trying not to laugh as Silver slightly smiled at him. The governor smiled and said, "Of course! Look! Hours of excitement!" as he shook the snow globe. Shadow rolled his eyes and took it, only for Sonic to laugh his head off. The governor then laughed as he said, "Oh you can't blame me! It was actually Sonic's idea!" Shadow almost dropped the snow globe as he turned to look at Sonic.

He wanted to chaos spear Sonic, but the governor then said, "We actually have a better surprise for you." On the count of three, Sonic pulled back the curtain, revealing...the motorcycle from Zeena's castle! Shadow gasped in awe as he placed the snow globe down and ran to it, mesmerizing it in every angle. "N-No way! This is the motorcycle from the castle! Sonic how did you-?!" Shadow was lost for words as Sonic smiled, his tail wagging happily.

Shadow got on the motorcycle and gasped happily at everything that surrounded him. "This is the best. Gift. EVER!" he shouted happily. "I will always treasure this!" He then got off of it and stroked it, before randomly saying, "You know what? I think I will take that snow globe." That shocked the governor as Shadow took the snow globe from the ground and shook it. It turned out he liked his joke gift after all. "Well...that was shocking," the governor said in surprise. He cleared his throat before saying the final name. "And finally...Sonic the Hedgehog."
