Soon in a vast clearing, Marlene watched as the landscape past by swiftly, the vast open area being filled with a variety of plants that she had a feeling Ellie was having the time of her life spotting and naming.

In fact, she was to engrossed in the scenery in front of her she didn't notice how the Jeep had come to a stop or how Alan was rising from his seat right in front of her. In fact, she didn't even notice that Ian had stood from his seat as well until she felt someone repeatedly tapping the top of her head.

"What Alan?" She snapped, looking up at him only to see he wasn't looking at her. Scrunching her brows, she slowly followed his line of vision until she saw what he was seeing.

Seeing what was in front of her, her jaw went slack as she stood up, brushing her hair out of her face almost like it was playing with her mind almost. Because what she was seeing couldn't be real, by any possible means. What stood in front of her, being taller than the trees of which it munched on. In fact it was so ginormous that it looked like it's head was touching the sun itself.

"Is... Is that a...?" Ian trailed off as Alan hopped out of the car.

"That's a Brachiosaurus." Marlene gasped, staring at the large specimen as it let out a loud bellow. "But it can't be.. it just..." quickly opening her door, she jumped out if the car and ran to catch up with Alan and Ellie.

"L-Look at that." Ellie gasped, embracing Marlene in a side hug when she got there, all the three could really do was stare at the beast in front of them.

"Ellie, Marls... um, it's a dinosaur." Alan stuttered in disbelief, pointing at it as he looked at his girls.

"Uh-huh." Marlene breathed out, moving to stand next to her older brother. "It really is a... holy shit..."

"How... how is this possible?" Alan asked no one in particular, gripping his hair as he looked back up at the dinosaur. "Oh Marls, we can can just tear up the rule book on cold-bloodedness right now. It doesn't apply. They're totally wrong, this is a warm-blooded creature!"

"This thing doesn't live in a swamp!" Marlene gawked, straining her neck just so she could watch the animal eat leaves from a tree. "What is it? A 25, 27-foot neck?"

"A brachiosaurus? 30." John answered, coming up to the trio. Just on time, the dinosaur bellows before lifting onto its hind legs and stomping, the ground rumbling.

"How fast are they?" Alan asked, not bother to look away from the creature until he heard what John had said next.

"Well, we clocked the T. Rex at 32 miles an hour." Whipping their heads around, the trio stared at the man in both surprise and awe.

"T. Rex?" Ellie asked, making sure she had heard him right. Hammond hummed in confirmation at her question, smiling at her.

"You said you got a T. Rex?" Marlene gasped, looking at her brother as he got closer to John.
