7. Nothing is under control

Miyako's POV.
The monster used it's tail and smacked me, crashing into a wall.

"Argh"I tried getting up but my body disagreed.

It screeched loudly and I blocked my ears, screaming .

I forced myself to stand with the help of adrenaline pumping through me.
I can't die like this and I won't.

Legs get ready to do your job.
Time for a test run.

I ran as quickly as I could.
It followed me, snapping it's jaws.
I was cornered, stopped by walls and a snake thingy in front of me.

"Listen up big scary monster,I don't know what you are or why your chasing me...heck my mind is crowded to the point that I don't even know why I'm running but... but... I'm not letting you eat me and I won't go down without a fight-ahh".
I screamed smashing into the wall.
I raised my arm.
"Okay... you did your shot... now time for mine".

I picked up a stick i saw lying on the ground and charged at the monster.
It stared at me as I wark it on the head.
"Uh-Ohh "the stick broke and the monster arched it head up .

"Mommy".

"Roooaaarr"the beast screamed and I gulped on my saliva before it's tail hit me and I flew into an apartment.

I growled in pain, trying to get up.
I looked to see some people who gasped hiding.

I got up"Every thing is under control"I say as it pulled my dress and threw me into the ground.

"Ok... Nothing is under control".

It's breath hit against me and I was scared.
I crawled out of the rubble.
"Kiyoshi. Where are you?".

I turned around an a horn dug into me causing blood to spill from my mouth.
I felt dizzy and stood up but fell back down.

"Arrrrhhh"I winced in pain.

Suddenly a big yo-yo smacked it's head sending it flying.

It transforms into a pig that came to my aid.
"Grunt"I muttered.

"Miyako. Oh no, your hurt"he panicked.

The first thought was Kiyoshi, maybe... just maybe he was here.

My eyes survey the area but he was no where.

"Grunt. Am I going to die"I ask with tears forming.

"What. Don't say such. You'll be fine".

"Ki...Kiy.... Kiyoshi's not here... he's gone"my tears starts dropping.
"I...I want to see Kiyoshi... he... can't just leave me like that...I never even got to pay the favour for him saving me... Grunt...I...I want Kiyoshi...I want him to be right here with me" I burst into tears whimpering.
"I don't... ever want him to leave...it hurts...I...think I lov"-.

A handsome half demon in a white robe dropped down in front of me, arms crossed.
"Stop your whining already. I'm right here".

I gleamed with smiles.
"Kiyoshi"I tried to go meet him but I stumbled - hurt.
Next thing I knew he was crouching next to me, with his arms round me.

"Careful Miyako. Don't try to get up.
I'm... I'm right here".

He hugs me and I hug him back.

"Kiyoshi...why did you leave me... Don't ever do that again... please" I begged.

"Fine. Fine. I promise I'll never leave you and I'll always protect you but this is all smoochy and disgusting.
Enough of it".

We paused hearing a monstery scream.

Kiyoshi got on his feet.
"Grunt. I need you to get her away from here as possible".

"What about you"I said as he grabbed the hilt of his sword.

"I'll stall it".

It jumped out as he drew his Katana and blocked it's jaws.

"Grunt go"he yelled.
Grunt nodded and carefully got me off the ground and starts running.
He was slow but then his legs changed into that of a horse.

I looked back to see Kiyoshi, the demon I...I adored.

He jumps towards it,slashing his swords.
The monster screamed wounded but quickly heals.

Kiyoshi slashed his sword in the air.
'Formation German shepherd' he yelled as a dog forms from light and runs towards the monster and fights it roughly.
Jaw against jaw the dog pinned it down and snapped it's neck before disappearing, the monster was motionless.

Kiyoshi turned around waving at me but it got right up and stuck it's horn in him.
My eyes widened as I scream.
"Kiiiiiyyyyooosssshhhiii".

Grunt didn't stop, following orders, afraid of what he might see if he did.

I bit him and pushed him away.
I got up the pain was quite faint to what I saw.
I ran up to where his body lay, he held my hand and smirked before, dashing at the monster, all bloody.
He made some deep cuts but then it fired a huge energy source from its mouth hitting him.
Kiyoshi fell flat to the ground.
My heart sank.

I wanted to go meet him when it's tail pinned me and was about to fire a blast at me.

Kiyoshi got up forcefully,he sliced it's tail and covered me with he's body, making sure the blast didn't hit me but... but when it hit him he coughed up blood.

My eyes widened.
It smacked it's tail on him, he was protecting me.
After the third hit, he fell on me. Unconscious.

I couldn't believe it,he... he's gone.
My eyes shone with anger,rage,fury.

"Nnnnnnooooooo" I yelled floating on the air.
I then screamed in pain.
A purple miasma circled me as my blue dress changed into a purple fighting outfit.

"SUMIKO" Grunt whispered.

I opened my eyes on an island.
I saw a wonderful woman who looked like my anime form.
She smiled handing me a sceptre.
Holding my hands she said 'Say what I say".
I nod "Ruyi".

In reality my hair pin flew out and floated before me.
My eyes shot open.
I gripped it thightly, it soon morphed into a beautiful golden sceptre with a black diamond on top.

I spawn it on my hands.
My eyes still a bright purple glow.
"Ruyi. I am your master now and you must bend to my will.
I summon your great power.
Help me.
Power of destruction.
I command you.
Reactivate.
NOW".

I hit the bottom of my new sceptre on thin air which broke like ice.
A purple light then flies out from the black diamond.

The monster retreated but my hit was way too fast and it hit it as it exploded like a bomb.
Some buildings crumbled, the ground cracked.

Grunt pulled Kiyoshi away from the blast.
After the destruction,I looked around and saw Kiyoshi cough on Grunts arms.
"Miyako".

"Ki... Kiyoshi". I fell down losing consciousness of my body and power.
I feel like a medioryte .
Kiyoshi got me but his arms burnt at the fire that surrounded me when I fell.
A result of how high I was.
