Chapter 5

The Next Day

Amy's P.O.V

Ok, I searched up on the dark web how to make the "Control Potion".  This is a potion that will make the drinker obey the first person they see at all costs. They become a mindless machine, and it only lasts for 2 hours. I must use my time wisely.

I finished brewing the potion and tested it on a little flickey I found chirping around. It listened to my every command, whether it was possible or not. Perfect! Now, all I have to do, is get Sonic to drink it! I squeal to myself, excited to get my Sonikku all to myself. Oh, and I also have to get Shadow... I have an idea on what I'll do to him for taking my Sonikku away from me.

I poured the potion in a grape juice box, since the liquid is purple anyways, and headed off to Sonikku's house. I knocked on the front door a few times and Tails came to answer it. "Oh, hey, Amy! Whatcha doin' here?" He chirps his question. Heh, someone's in a good mood. "Oh, no reason... can I see Sonic? I never got the chance yesterday, to congratulate him for his relationship with Shadow!"

Tails' P.O.V

SHE wants to CONGRATULATE him? I doubt she means that... she's OBSESSED with Sonic, and she could've done this yesterday. This is really sketchy. And the juice box in her hand? Who comes to someone's house with a JUICE BOX in their hand?! "Uh, sorry, Amy. Sonic's not here right now. I don't know where he is. Try asking Knuckles. He might know." THAT should distract her for a bit.

Amy's P.O.V

Does he take me for an IDIOT?! I'm not going to Angel Island to look for my Sonikku because I KNOW he's not there! "Tails, I KNOW Sonic isn't at Angel Island, now tell me where he is, or I'll-" "You'll what?" I gulp and turn around seeing Shadow right behind me. "Sh-Shadow?! W-What are you-" "What are YOU doing here, Rose?" He speaks coldly. Shoot... I'm in trouble.

"Rose, why are you here?" He glares at me. "W-Well, I- ...I wanted to CONGRATULATE you two!" He raises an eyebrow. "I know how happy you make my Sonikku, so I wanted to congratulate the both of you for coming out to me and everyone else especially. Oh! And I have this juice. Want some?" Change of plans... Shadow first, Sonic next.

Shadow's P.O.V

I don't trust her for a second... but I am kinda thirsty... I roll my eyes and take the- JUICE BOX?? Why does she have a- y'know what? Whatever, I take it from her and drink the whole thing in a flash. After that I look back at Rose and I freeze in place. She takes the juice box from me and holds it in her hand. "Shadow, can you come with me? I want to show you something really quick." I was about to say 'no', but I couldn't control my limbs. "Yes, Rose, of course." I didn't mean to say that... I start to follow her off to who knows where. What's happening? Why can't I control my body..?

After a while, we reached the park. That's where I was going to have a date with Sonic... Rose grabs my hand and walks around. As soon as she sees Sonic, she smirks. "Shadow, go break up with Sonic and then chaos control into my home. Wait there for further instructions." She smirks deviously. What? No! I don't want to- it's too late, my body won't listen to me. Oh, chaos... Sonic, I'm so sorry... please forgive me...

Sonic's P.O.V

I wait for my boyfriend to show up so we can start our date. I finally see Shadow walk up to me, so I stand and run over to hug him, but he punches me in the face. The heck?! "Shadow! What the heck?!" "Sonic, I do not love you any longer. I'm breaking up with you." He says, not an ounce of sympathy in his tone. Before I could respond, he chaos controlled off to who knows where. I fall down to my knees and start to cry quietly. How could he do this to me? Where did it all go wrong..?
