The Confession (Sonadow) (On Pause)

Chapter 8

2 Weeks Later

Sonic's P.O.V

It's been 2 weeks since that whole incident with Scourge and Amy. I don't miss Scourge, and I don't miss Amy chasing me around. Me and Shadow had to lie to everyone and say Amy took a vacation because they wouldn't appreciate us sending her away to China.

And about Scourge? They didn't ask, so we didn't say anything. Nobody cares about Scourge! It wouldn't matter if we told them he was dead! They'd spit on his grave! Haha! Great friends... oh, and a terrible Scourge. That's my crazy life. Oh, and Eggman... he's so irrelevant I almost forgot about him.

I mean, I almost forgot about his existence. Hehe, oh well... but, uh- he hasn't attacked since the day before our confession. That usually means he's planning something, so Shadow's on high alert and has been staying over at my house recently. Not that I mind, he's been getting along with Tails quite well. Much better than before. I'm happy it all worked out, well, except for the whole thing with Amy and Scourge.

I don't know if they found their way back yet, but they won't be very happy when they do. I know Amy won't like the strict rules in China and I'm sure Scourge has probably been eaten by lions by now, but I wouldn't give two shits if he was because, once again, NOBODY CARES ABOUT SCOURGE!

So, now to catch you guys up on all that happened during the two week time skip. So, Tails found out Metal is now being powered by a chaos emerald which is why he's gotten stronger, Silver confessed to Blaze and they started dating, Knuckles sprained his ankle falling down the steps of the Master Emerald podium, and Shadow bought me a necklace I now wear at all times! It has a cross on it, which is pretty cool!

I think the necklace looks awesome! I love it, I never take it off... EVER. Anyways, me and Shadow are going out tonight! Our first date! Well, first real date. Y'see, we always had dates at his house, so we never actually got to go out because no one knew about us. But, now that we're letting everyone know about us, we're finally going out! 

I was sitting on my couch in anticipation, waiting for the doorbell to ring knowing it'd be Shadow who'd be behind the door.

Shadow's P.O.V

Chaos, I'm really anxious since this is my first night out with Sonic. I don't know what to do, and- I'm feeling all nervous although Rouge told me it will be alright and Sonic loves me for me, I can't help but feel nervous about this. I've never been on a date before. Well, in public. What if people recognize us and judge us? I may be overreacting, but you never know.

Rouge was helping me look nicer. She put gel in my quills to make them shine, she gave me teeth whitener, and made sure I looked handsome and presentable. I also got some flowers for Sonic, since he loves nature. "Looks? Check. Breath? Check. Flowers? Check. I think you're good to go, handsome. Good luck." I gave her a nod of confirmation. "Thank you, Rouge. Chaos control!" I teleported to Sonic's house.

I gulped and sighed. I pushed my nerves away and knocked on the door. Sonic came zooming over and he opened the door almost immediately. Sonic looked... the same. He had those beautiful emerald pools, silky royal blue quills, and shiny red shoes. The only difference is, he's wearing the necklace I bought him. Oh, and his quills look noticeably less knotty than usual.

I handed him the roses I got him. "Here, these are for you." "Oh, thank you, Shadz!" He runs inside to put them in a vase and then comes back to the door.  "Woah, Shadz... you look..." I probably overdid it... "It's a little much, isn't it?" "No... y-you... you look amazing..." He reaches up and gives me a peck on the lips. "Thank you, my love." "So... you ready?" "More than I've ever been."

Here we go. Our first date out.

I have no motivation for this fic! I'm sorry for the long wait, but I couldn't end this fic on 7 chapters! I hope you enjoyed this one!
