Chapter 10

Shadow's P.O.V

"He's back..." I hear Sonic say. Nonono, not now. NOT NOW! We've been waiting for this forever now, and I'll be damned if our first date will get ruined AGAIN! First that pink bitch and that toxic waste pile, now Eggman?? Why can't we have ONE DATE in PEACE?!

I groaned. "Right now..? Seriously..?" I said to myself. "C'mon, Shadz. I know it's bad timing, but we gotta go..." Sonic said, standing up and offering his hand to me. I sighed disappointingly, knowing that we'll probably never end up finishing the date, and grab his hand, standing up.

Narrator's P.O.V

Hi! It's me- Diya. I'm back again! Since you guys enjoyed having me as your narrator last time... I decided to come back again! So uh... let's continue, and hopefully this time, there's no outside comments from Gow, or anyone else.

Anyways, Shadow, upset, grabs Sonic and dashes out of the restaurant. They find Eggman and get into fighting position. "Eggman! What are you doing?!" Sonic yells, angered at his interruption. "Well, Sonic, I'm glad you asked! You see-" Eggman cuts himself off when he examines the two hedgehogs. It's starting to get late, so he can't see them too well, but he can see Sonic's quill gel glistening in the moonlight, and Shadow's black suit.

Eggman chuckles lowly. "Oh? Was I interrupting something? Perhaps... a date?" The hedgehogs growl at him. They had no idea how he could tell, that was until Shadow realized he was still in his suit and became embarrassed. Shit... He thinks to himself.

Both hedgehogs played it cool and rolled their eyes. "Whatever, Egghead." They say in unison. "You even have the same mannerisms now... remarkable. However, I don't have time for this. Burn Bot, attack!" He sent his robot at the two hedgehogs.

Sonic and Shadow both went at the 'Burn Bot' to see it's- saws?? Why's it called 'Burn Bot' if it has SAWS?! Call it 'Jigsaw' or something then! Who WROTE this script?!

(Gow: Well, I didn't do it!
Diya: Well, then who DID?!
Chaos: I heard this bit took some inspo from a Sonic show. *He shrugs*
Diya: Which SHOW?!
Chaos: I dunno. I don't care. It's not one that I was in.
*Diya facepalms*)

Anyways... Sonic and Shadow quickly destroyed the 'Burn' Bot. "What kinda Burn Bot doesn't burn anything?" Sonic said, pinching the spot right in between his eyes in annoyance, closing his eyes while speaking to Eggman. "It's called alliteration, hedgehog!" The egg shouts back.

Both hedgehogs rolled their eyes. "Riiight..." They said in unison. "Oh, shut up! I'll get you next time, pests!" He flew away in his Egg mobile. Sonic checked the time. "Shad-" "Let me guess, the restaurant closed?" The ebony one says with slight annoyance. Sonic replied with a short hum and a single nod.

Shadow sighed. "Why can't we go out for ONCE without an interuption..?" Sonic looked down at the ground and then back at the time on his watch. His ears perked up at an idea he had. "Hey! It's still 9 o'clock. We can go to the movies!" He said cheerfully. "Dressed like this?" Shadow asked, looking strangely at his partner. "Yeah! C'mon, Shadz! I'll race ya~" The azure teases. Shadow rolls his eyes playfully. "You know me so well, blue."

And then, they ran off... unaware that someone is watching them...

(Me: Hey! Sorry that it took so long for this chapter! I didn't have any motivation for this book and basically just kept updating "Sonic's Kid" which I DID have motivation for. I also might remove the question mark from the title of that book if you know what I mean..~ Anyways, goodbye!

Shadow: Or night.)
